macoto_hino Our mod is updated piece by piece on gitlab, and we only release it once it is done.If we add things, we would not release the mod until the translation is also updated.

Pre-releases are usually not done as we test the mod internally, but we could provide you with some if that makes translation easier.

I myself definitely prefer to have all resources in one central location, as it makes it much easier for users to get the translations. But I don't mind if others provide free translations elsewhere - the more, the better :)

As for the future - it seems to be time to split up BL into different parts instead of piling more and more features into one mod. But not this year anymore :)

I have never used Gitlab.
I find even the Github exchange cumbersome, so I prefer to exchange language files directly.

I think some time lag is unavoidable until the language files are updated and then added to the mod and published.
But I would like updates as soon as possible.
If you don't update your mod until there are modifications or additions to your mod, then I believe that I can provide it to my users more quickly than I can provide it to you in the mod I am providing.

I look forward to updating your mod in the future.
What will be added to the mod next?😁

We always add the translators to our CREDITs file, please see here: https://gitlab.com/codesmiths/vs_bricklayers/-/blob/main/CREDITS.md
The CREDITS.md file is of course included in the mod itself.

I understand your concern about the time lag, for instance, our mod is simetimes not updated for a while, even tho we would add your language file to our repository quite fast, it might take some time for it to be present for users.

There are definitiv advantages to have the translation in our repository (it can be tested by our testsuite, other people can contribute, there is revision-security) and there are also drawbacks, like your mod here can be updated independently.

At the moment I'm not sure what is really the best way. Let's just say I'd be happy to add your translation to our repository and update it there whenever you want, or even give you contributor rights on gitlab, so you can update it there on your own.

I'm so happy to hear your reaction to the translation. Thank you.
I have provided language files to some mod makers, but there is of course a reason why I do not provide translated language files at this time.

Some mod makers do not even indicate the translator or that Japanese was included in the mod in the first place, even if they provide the language files. Also, they often don't update their mods with new translation files right away.

I am human and I make mistakes.
When I find the mistake and correct the language file, I would really like to update the mod immediately and replace the language file alone with a new one, and I want it to be replaced.
However, I am not going to ask a mod that provided the language files and has done so, to remove the Japanese language files now.

Well, to put it simply, I'm talking about the time lag of having my translated and embarrassing language files updated.
If you want the Japanese language files, I am not afraid to provide them.
Can you add the translator's notation, mention that Japanese has been added, and if the language file has been modified, can you add it to the mod as soon as possible and update the mod?

It's nice to see a japanese translation of Bricklayers :) Is there a reason you can't just send me the file and I include it in the mod rightaway?
