Palisades
Adds variants for every wood type of the vanilla palisades and allows you to craft them.
Two new adapted models for rope on the full wall segments, two unused vanilla models for top sections with rope.
An aged variant is also added by the mod separate to the base game one, purely because of a slight texture difference, vanilla one isn't craftable but looks almost identical.
130 new palisade blocks total to build with!
New Blocks:
- Palisade (Four log / Three log) x (Wall/Top/Topshort/Rope/Toprope) x (13 wood variants) - Vanilla model palisades from clutter blocks, given textures from each wood type, two unused vanilla models and two new models also included as variants.
Grid Recipes:
- Crafting Recipes for each palisade type.
v1.0.0 - Initial release per above.
v1.1.0 - Wildcraft trees compatibility, 16 new wood types supported.
Future:
Nothing planned, if anything breaks from future releases of the base game then adapting to fix that.
Enjoy the new building blocks.

Material Aging - Use vinegar to age logs, planks, rock and hay. Brine some metal.

Cool mod, because these types of defences are lacking right now in vanilla.
But, the requirement of the hammer is somekind heavy in early game. There is a patch from Bratwurstinator but if u want to keep that, is there an option to code the usage of the wooden hammer from early chiseling by XurxoMF?
Could you include a corner palisade, maybe diagonal or a 90 degree angle palisade. I having trouble conecting my walls around my settement.
great mod. is there a chance perhaps to make a recipe without the need of the hammer? a
Amazing mod. Thank you for your work! Wondering if there's a chance of adding fence functionality to the palisades with regard to animals? Currently, animals (sheep, bears) can climb up and down the palisade. Is there any chance of stopping them doing this? Or even better, causing damage when they do? I understand that's likely a big ask for a relatively light mod, but it would still be amazing! Thanks again.
Alatyr I had the same problem. 1.19.1 and later versions should fix that as shapeless recipes are now processed last, after fixed recipes like the palisade one.
Does its works on 1.18.15?
Thank you for this lovely mod!
Looking at the non-spiky pieces, I can't help but think they would make a great block to walk over water if placed horizontally.
DominusCypher You just have to reverse your placement when you flip sides.
I don't suppose you happen to have any intention of making corner pieces?
Palisades Recipe conflicts with vanilla Peeled Log crafting recipe. Am I the only one with such problems?
Thank you for making a very nice mod!
When In Dappled Groves is installed, the vanilla metal axes are removed, so it is very annoying that the axes for making Palisades can only be created with broken weapon axes found in ruins or stone axes.
If possible, please add a recipe so that Palisades can be created using the axes that will be added to In Dappled Groves.
Azkaron What your discord username?
Idk if you can code a way for players to take dmg when standing on the spikes
The game code is much easier to edit than JSON without using any code
Coding is the only way, there are a few lines of codes needed. Such code is extremely stable and never break
I looked at how you did it in vanilla variants as a reference while making this mod but didn't really get how it worked Craluminum, if it's through coding I wouldn't have a clue how to implement it.
I have an idea how to add automatic localization for all languages without even using lang folder
Hm, I love this but do you think It could get to work to deal some dmg?
