After opening doors, etc., they automatically close after a while.
Translated into other languages using DeepL.
Configuration file is located in VintagestoryData/ModConfig, it is appeared after loading any world.
Compatibility
Auto close doesn't work for Fancy Doors.
Haven't tested with doors from QPTech.
Supported blocks:
- Doors (BlockBaseDoor).
- Trapdoors (BlockTrapdoor).
- Fence gates (BlockFenceGate, BlockFenceGateRoughHewn or just BlockBaseDoor).
- Gates, Portcullis and Drawbridge from Medieval Expansion.

Does not currently seem to work with the new doors in 1.18. [pre3 is the version I'm on at the moment]
sharptile Actually having alt would be better. Now it's bound to ctrl so you can't sprint through a door as you are opening it because it thinks you want to keep it open. Shift would be much better even if it interfers with carry on/pick up & carry mods.
is there or will there be an option to rebind the controls?
i personally find it annoying using shift as a ''dont autoclose'' and would like to rebind it to a different key

I originally made it as replacer of Blacksmiths mod and floor plates
thnks for the answer back. and YES! exactly what I needed. Thnk you so much. I used to use the floor plates from Medieval expansion.
but that mod has been giveing me truble of late. Then I tried the springs from Blacksmiths.
But they only work on doors and I need gates far more, as I'm always leaving the garden gate open for the rabbits.
Also that mod adds so much stuff I dont need and never use this is much better.
