La Verace brings classic Neapolitan pizza to Vintage Story!
Pizza
Pizza is made like pies using a table and pizza dough. The dough is obtained by kneading dough and oil in a mixing bowl. Pizzas need tomato sauce, and also allow many toppings, in fact, they accept any item that goes in pies! Currently only sauce and cheese have a special shape, but additions are planned. Once your pizza is baked, slice it with a knife and share with friends!

Fully compatible with Expanded Foods
The mod requires Expanded Foods and A Culinary Artillery. Ingredients added by this mod are fully compatible with Expanded Food recipes, and require tools from A Culinary Artillery to be prepared.
As an example, you can use mozzarella in au gratin, sausages, dumplins, pasta and more. You can use tomato sauce and tomatoes in pasta, or cherry tomatoes in fruit dough, and in many more recipes. Please do tell if your favourite recipe is missing!

Shinji170981 you can already put any item that goes in pies on top of pizza. You can also put liquids, but currently they will display as toppings and not sauces. Except for tomato sauce. I want to make better custom shapes for item categories though.
I would love to see a pineapple or seafood pizza.
More varieties in general but I am happy with any addition :)

What, no pictures of the tomatoes?
One topping - actually, two - you could add is olive oil. Not just olives, olive OIL. I'm not sure why, but it seems some friends say it's good? Like, my pizza is probably already too greasy from the cheese, I HAVE to wonder what olive oil would do to it because I'm not putting it in mine.
But then again, there's worse sins against pizza.

Edit: Forgot what this comment said, something about me not appreciating the idea of peanut butter or banana on pizza Quiche nickzom. The comment got ruined by mod db cache while trying to edit a different comment. Regardless, it will be possible in the mod.

peanut butter pizza is not cursed at all. i know a place that sells one with PB, Banana, honey and cheese
Quiche right! more sauces support is also on the list, but I forgot to write it. The only issue is EF doesn't have many thick sauces that would realistically go on pizza, but I could go the cursed route and allow peanut butter pizza... or syrup etc
Excited for more development! Making sweet pizzas would be very funny.

Altervayne that is weird, I can see it just fine. Might be some interaction with another mod. I updated the code to have a catch that will hopefully avoid this. It will output the cause in the logs but not crash the game. Also please to avoid clutter, can you place your log errors in a pastebin instead of directly posting them under here? Or alternatively, report issues on the github issues page

Hey jayu, I love the concept, but my game crashes instantly when I try to look up "pizza" in the handbook. It crashes right as I type the "i", here's the crash log
Ashtal yes there is planned compatibility with other mods, especially flour mods, like Ancient Tools, Acorns, New World Crops. For NWC there is also the issue of how to handle tomatoes, I have yet to decide whether to hijack their tomato plant and add my own varieties as drops or just make their tomatoes usable to make tomato sauce. Might just rename their tomato plant to get a 4th variety or something. The sauce should be in the handbook... Something went wrong with the handbook extra sections, lemme fix that rq

Could you maybe add the sauce recipe to the handbook, also is there compat for other mods planned?, like New World Crops.

Love the mod and the first mozarella, onion, sausage and mushroom pizza was delicious!
