A simple mod that adds an item called pig feed, crafted out of any grain, dry grass and 1 litre of water. Also lets you put 16 portions into a large trough. It only feeds pigs.

Hello. Thanks for releasing this mod.
Do you have any plans to make the fruit mash added in "Wildcraft: Fruits and Nuts" available for recipes in this mod?

Thanks for the awesome turn around on that fix!

VulcanoLV For goat feed you should add some kind of pellet. Say mabe grain, dry grass, and a stone (consumed) or hammer (durability) to make 4x goat pellets.

On the recipe that uses mash, instead of grass, you have it set to only accept the water if it is in a jug. Bucket doesnt work.

TenderRoast Nothing at the moment, food for goats is pretty easy to come by (being hay and dry grass) but if you have an idea for goat feed please mention it and I'll make it for you!

any plans to do anything for goats?

Nudge Ohhh right. Good idea seeing as pigs already eat it.

Fruit mashes are what they are referring to. When you press fruit, you get the fruit mash leftover, which can generally be fed to pigs, though are very particular as you can't mix an apple mash or pear mash in the same trough, and they rot rather quickly. So allowing us to use a mash in the place of grain or hay would be a great addition.

GreenPig It could be, what do you mean by mashes?

💬 GreenPig, Mar 20th at 5:15 PM

Hi! Is it possible to add more combinations like 2 mashes+water+dry grass= 3 or 4pig feed?
Thank You!

Whoops! I had the Grain and Grass in the wrong order on the crafting grid! Guess I was trying to make the Chicken Feed, but with water lol.

💬 VulcanoLVAuthor, Mar 20th at 3:48 AM

DubiousPhoenix Huh strange. I just tested it in my own world, I am able to craft it with a full bucket of 10L using only 1L per craft (so 10 crafts before I need to fill the bucket again). There shouldn't be anything missing, not sure why thats happening for you.

💬 DubiousPhoenix, Mar 20th at 3:07 AM

I seriously needed something exactly like this! I've noticed that it only works with 1L of water at a time so the craft is a bit tedious, especially compared to the Chicken Feed mod. Is there something I'm missing to use a full bucket to craft the Pig Feed?

Kilberto I lolled at your suggestion, seems a little out there but fun, but technically beyond me. Might add a meat recipe in the future however. Thanks for your support!

Hello,

Same that for chicken feed, this the french localization. Not very important but it's easy to do :)

{
"item-pigfeed": "Aliments pour cochons"
}

I don't know how exactly, but it would be pretty cool if you could somehow turn other players into pig feed. I always think about the mafia when I see pig feed. Maybe if you could use meat as a alternative to grain and make it kinda sus. Just a idea, not even a very good one. Love your mods btw.
