Craluminum That's great. I like the tips for decorational purposes, being unable to get them in 1.18 was a bit of a bummer for me. Thank you. =)
SalieriC Yes, although vanilla drops full vine tips instead end sections, and my mod is using vanilla drops
Will this drop wine tips (end sections) in 1.18 if those are present?

I don't understand much, but people say that this mod can trigger a crash during the loading of an existing world.
"The issue is highly technical. A mod - I don't know which one, but a mod with code not just assets - is registering a BlockBehavior (using a
RegisterBlockBehaviorClass()
call) at the wrong time, after the server already passed theFinalizeAssets()
stage. I don't have a way of knowing which of the mods you have is doing it, but it needs to somehow be found and reported back to the mod author for a fix. If you are willing to help that would be awesome, essentially the way would be to disable mods until the game starts, then you know which one. For a faster search you can use a "binary search technique", meaning for example disable 8 mods at a time (note which ones), if that allowed the game to start then put back 4 of them and see what happens..." radfast#3746"Drop Vines Anyway is confirmed to be at least one culprit.
