Latest release (for outdated Vintage Story v1.20.x):
coinbelt-0.0.1.zip  1-click install

This item adds a belt that goes in the waist slot that adds inventory that only holds coins from the mod Coinage. Since it is a clothing item, it will not drop on death. The mod Player Corpse will remove the coins from your belt and put it in the grave.
Requires Combat Overhaul (https://mods.vintagestory.at/combatoverhaul) and Coinage (https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/3001)

This is great!

Could I suggest also allowing the belt to hold Rusty Gears (since NPC traders use those as currency), and potentially also the keys from Thievery (as they're also "very small items" one might keep in a wallet/coinpurse)?

`"canHoldWildcards": ["coinage:coin-*", "gear-rusty", "thievery:key-*"]` should do it!

I also noticed a typo of "oolor" with an o instead of "color", which is why the inventory slots aren't colored.

Keeping an eye on this since I just downloaded Coinage. We don't play with CO but I love this idea!

Don't need to be sorry, buddy 🤗
I'm always looking for mods that add roleplay and immersion. I wouldn't mind using CO if they didn't update soo frequently. They're constatly trying to add things while fixing others, so I don't even know if they have an "stable version" among all these updates.

I know very very little about coding, but I guess VS mods can act differently when others are installed, right?
My suggestion would be to use as it is when CO is installed, but when it is not, if they would be just like another bag/inventory item (like backpacks).
That way we can use the mod without the overload dependency.

Kalmorph As of right now, yes. I'm using it to add inventory to a wearable item. I honestly just made this for the server I play on and mostly uploaded it to make it easier on everyone else to download. Maybe I'll figure out the code (or VS will add the ability for clothes to have pockets) and I'll be able to remove the dependancy eventually. Sorry

Is Combat Overhaul really necessary? That mod changes way too much stuff to be added as dependency.
