Just checked the documentation, had assumed the ID was the one in the modDB rather than just a unique name. Hopefully it works now

Thanks for the effort, but that's a negatory, server loads it, goes to download on client and says ID is not valid, have to manually download. 

Sorry its been a while, just uploaded with the mod id and gave it a quick test that it works just fine with the current game version. I expect it will likely work in future updates too unless there are changes to the fruitpress mechanics. In future if I haven't got round to updating something feel free to reupload with any necessary tweaks.

I contacted the author the other day in discord informing them of the missing modId issue, which prevents this mod from being auto-downloaded for players when joining servers that run it, but I haven't seen a response from them.

Seeing as of how this issue has been persistent for months now, I'm assuming the mod is abandoned. I am consulting with the VS discord to make sure it's fine to reupload this mod with a fixed modId, and of course credit the original author.

The reason the mod does not download for players joining a server is because the modinfo.json got a blank modid. Download from mod database fails with a 400 error then.

Have you checked that the other players also have the mod? As a new item is added I would assume that is why connecting fails, there would be a missmatch between items if one side doesn't have the mod installed.

Fortunately the mod should be very easy to add/remove to an existing save, as long as you are not mid way through pressing some wax at the time.

Also just checked and it works fine with 1.20.3, as the mod is fairly simple it is unlikely to break during updates.

Works fine in single-player but is causing others to be unable to connect when hosting a LAN game 

Buggi, it would seem that you have, however, I don't see a 1.19.x version in your files list, whereas this one does. If you want to complain about copycatting, update your work. Otherwise, someone else may take it upon themselves to do it for you.

Just wanted to report that I tested this out in 1.20rc1 and everything seemed to work without issue!

Hope you enjoy! After playing with from golden combs for a while I decided I needed something to process all the honeycombs you end up with a bit faster
