FancyClouds2D replaces the game's 3D clouds with a more realistic yet low resolution 2D skybox-based cloud system.
These 2D clouds simulate various formations and dynamically adjust their darkness based on precipitation according to the in-game weather, so they're more than just a simple animation!

Currently the 2D clouds simulate all the core in-game types: Altocumulus, Cirrocumulus, Clear sky, Cumulonimbus, Cumulus, Haze, Overcast, and Stratus.

Uses a configuration file that you may modify if you wish to change anything: Make clouds transition between formations or precipitation faster or slower, control how quickly clouds move, change the pixilation amount of clouds, and adjust the overall speed or intensity of cloud simulations!

IMPORTANT:

1.) This mod has been reported to not be compatible with the Volumetric Shaders mod, this might be rectified in a future update!
2.) There will likely be a degradation of performance with this mod enabled, this is due to the complex calculations within the shader and may be improved in the future!
3.) This mod may potentially cause issues, graphical or otherwise. Please feel free to report any problems you may have in the comments below!
4.) If you are using this in conjunction with my other mod BetterFPCamera, please make sure you have that mod updated to at least v1.2.0, otherwise the clouds will rotate along with the camera!
5.) The degree in which the cloud formations are accurate to their real life counterparts is currently debatable and will be tweaked and improved in the future!
6.) This mod makes use of a modified version of Xorberax's sky/cloud shaders!
