Latest file for v1.19.0:
flourbags-v1.0.2.zip 1-click install

Did you try out 1.19 for the first time and think to yourself "Where did the bag that my flour was in go?"

Not storing your flour in a container of some sort is not only messy, but also unsanitary! But now with Flour Bags, loose flour on your kitchen floor and all over your cellar is the thing of the past! Not only have we given you a bag to put your flour in, but it even has a label, and might keep the drifters from breaking into your cellar to steal your flour, too.

1.0.2: Quicklime is now also in a bag!

it seems with the new update that the flour bag is being used for powdered charcoal

💬 waterdrinker, Jan 19th at 9:06 PM

sorry it does work!! I was thinking the grain was in a bag too! Lol

💬 Irakonul, Jan 19th at 8:36 PM

waterdrinker I don't seem to be able to reproduce this issue on game version 1.19.1 (stable) with version 1.0.2 of the mod. Are you sure the mod is loaded?

Edit: we tested the mod on both windows and linux; seemed to work fine on both

doesnt seem to be working with the newest update. the models are still the game models

💬 Gabitzu, Jan 19th at 7:10 AM

Awesome, glad to hear! Keep up the good work!

💬 Irakonul, Jan 18th at 8:15 PM

Gabitzu you make an excellent point! We've actually marked this down as a bug on our internal issue tracker, and, while we're not going to push a patch just yet since the mod is working essentially as intended, we plan to fix this as well as a couple other minor cosmetic issues in a future patch alongside adding compatability for some other mods (such as Wildcraft and its acorn flour) once other mods have properly updated!

Love the mod! But shouldn't the flour bag be rotated 90° clockwise in order to be able to see the icon in first-person and have the same orientation as the vanilla seed bags?

DUDE ! I first saw you mod and was like "anw cute but don't care" then I logg for the first time in 1.19 and I saw the massacre xD I LOVE your mod ! What did the devs was thinking with theses new 3D models...? I hope they will bring your model in the vanilla game !!!

Awwww, sad - but I still love the mod! Server just has to wait until we can shift over to 1.19 to enjoy it :P

💬 Irakonul, Jan 18th at 4:07 AM

unhallowed we took a crack and trying to backport the mod, but it sadly seems that 1.18 doesn't know what to do with the shape file, nor the textures, and just kind of throws out a flat, textureless square. We're not really sure how we could fix that given our limited knowledge, so sadly we won't be able to backport the mod for now.

💬 unhallowed, Jan 18th at 2:54 AM

What are the chances of a version of this for 1.18 - my server has elected to wait on updating to 1.19 as most of our mods don't have those updates yet, but I REALLY want to include this one anyway. I absolutely love the modelling you've done here, its insanely cute!

💬 Irakonul, Jan 18th at 1:34 AM

SpacemanSpliff no worries! We missed this in the first versions because we had no idea that quicklime shares a shape file with flour. Funnily enough, if you turn the mod off and look at quicklime in vanilla 1.19.0, apparently the game devs forgot this fact too!

💬 SpacemanSpliff, Jan 18th at 1:22 AM

You have my deepest apology, I was using version 1.0.1 and did not realise the mod had updated. 1.0.2 has fixed the issue.

To answer your question I am using the mod "place every item" and "more piles"...not sure which one lets me place quicklime on the ground.

💬 Irakonul, Jan 18th at 12:53 AM

SpacemanSpliff what mods are you using that allows you to place quicklime? It's could be a mod incompatability, thought we would have to look into it. It might also be the bug we fixed in version 1.0.2, as that was a problem we were having in the 1.0.1 version of the mod, so if you're using an older version of the mod, try the more recent one.

💬 SpacemanSpliff, Jan 18th at 12:20 AM

Love this mod, but it is affecting Quicklime and missing a texture for it.

Xeros08 the mod makes changes to the itemtypes files for flour in order to have the varried textures between types, and, while it can run only on the client, there are some missing textures if not installed on the server as well. Hope that clears things up!

💬 Xeros08, Jan 17th at 6:50 PM

The mod is listed as "Both", but shouldn't this be a client side only mod?

💬 Yelb, Jan 17th at 6:33 PM

Thanks, should be vanilla

💬 Darce, Jan 17th at 5:58 PM

Great mod!

I love the model and how they are labeled! What a neat idea.
