Latest release (for Vintage Story 1.19.0 - 1.19.3, 1.19.4 and 1.19.5 - 1.20.0-rc.1, potentially outdated):
reducedwater_1.0.zip  1-click install

This mod reduces the amount of water in most landforms and also makes watery landforms less common. No other changes are made to the landforms to retain the vanilla feel of Vintage Story. One sideeffect of this mod is that many landforms that had small amounts of water will have flattened out making suitable locations for building more common! Many landforms will still be dotted with small ponds, but large bodies of water will be less frequent. I recommend using this mod with oceans and Rivers.

Unlike my Worldgen Fix Remix mod, this one is designed specifically for default world height.

This is not compatible with other worldgen mods that alter landforms and it's strongly recommended to use this with new worlds only.

Initial release. Should work with many earlier versions but only tested in 1.19.x.

I'm not seeing any reduction in water in my worlds I make using this. The landscape is still peppered with ponds and puddles. I think this mod might need an update...

Hey, I've been noticing some confusion in threads about compatibility between worldgen mods vs landform mods. It seems like due to phrasing some folks think landform mods aren't compatible with all other types of world gen. I'm posting this message in all landform mods, asking if we could standardize our warning to 'not compatible with other landform mods' so maybe you can reduce confusion.

-Thanks!
