version 1.19.8 i poured 7200 units of copper into three 2400 unit foundries from the foundry mod, i filled completely two foundries but the third was left with 2399/2400 units. the crucible was empty.
Is this able to melt steel nuggets?
artEA I did. Let me know if there are any issues.
dashr Yes, it would be nice if you sent me the file. Could you mention me on the server?
artEA I tested this mod thoroughly and can say it works without any hiccups on 1.19.8 with over 80 mods.
I have written a well thought out handbook entry for the mod, including all the links for the Crucible and the Furnace. I've changed the words a bit, but it shouldn't be a big deal for you to edit, if you want to. Let me know if you want the file, I think it will save you a lot of time.

artEA not sure if this is happening to anyone else but I can't get this thing to do anything with any ores in the Crucible asin when putting ores in it just remains cold no matter the amount...
I know this is for smelting BUUUUTTT it would be awesome to have this for cooking as well. maybe a variant or just a pot that works on it?
Would you consider allowing plates other than black bronze for the crucible recipe?
It works fine for me and I have a lot of mods. I think its possible they have conflicts, probably something that touches Ores/Smelting.
artEA I used a crucible from the mod for melting. Both the furnace and the crucible were made without problems, all the fuel (wood, peat, coal, coke) burns in the furnace, but the crucible remains cold. The heating process does not start. I tested on different ores and amounts.
@Powidlo Which crucible do you use from this mod or vanilla? with molten metal or ore?
I have the same problem as below. The fuel burns but the crucible remains cool. I would also recommend reducing the fuel burn rate.
artEA Done. Please let me know if you need any further information or if the issue is lacking in some way.
@Hanley write issue for this reason https://github.com/Arkona-VS/MeltingPP-Issues
Im having the same issue as Hanley down below, the crucible is not receiving heat.
wow nice
Hello, for some reason the crucible won't heat up I'm curious if maybe there's something I'm doing wrong? I've tried lignite, black coal, as well as charcoal but the cruicible remains cold and doesn't heat up at all. I looked in the client logs and I don't see any errors.
Dreamcrusher
This mod adds a crucible with 12 slots and a new Melting Furnace to place it on, for bulk melting of ore.
Foundry, the mod you linked, adds 12 ingot and 24 ingot molds for bulk casting of molten metal.
Can you explain? Like write down what they do, provide images of them in action? Why this and not https://mods.vintagestory.at/show/mod/1197 which still works amazingly? What's it for, why, when, how
