im getting a "unable to load mod. Requires dependency game v1.20.4" message but i am running game version 1.20.4

Is it possible to let us use ropes on fox kits? Or is this possibler already and is my game just refusing to let me catch it?

FeroxWildBorn I don't have the time to animate fox-shaped tippytaps :( I fixed the fox beds though, they should go sleep in the small ones now.

would you be able to add a little more to this, like the wolf taming mod? :D I'd love to see fox backpacks and armor, and even have them sleeping in beds and stuff. right now as far as im aware, they dont use the beds like the dogs do and instead just sleep anywhere. It would be super cute for them to do little dances like the wolves too! :D

hey i love the mod idea, but i have NEVER been able to get it to work. fox kits just dont exist after like a week or two playing, as all of them are matured by then. i have spent hours looking around for a fox kit to no avail. is there a way to make the mod just be able to tame any fox that you find? like just remove the "kit" requirement so its just a bit easier? OR can somebody point me in the direction of maybe consoling in a fox kit to actually get this to work? again, love the idea, but i have no clue as to how it can actually work without either having a limited window of oppertunity to get one, or having to kinda cheat. also, im not a new player, i have had this mod installed for like a solid year, and again, could nevr find a kit after like the first week of play (multiple plays) trying to set things up for food, and shelter. sucks that its a great idea, but held back by this limitation that pretty much kills it. thank you for your time and be well xD

I see.  We've had trouble finding the baby's but will keep hopeful.  I've even used x-ray to find them and had the marker mod on just to spefically find the baby's and i never really get hits, always find the adults. 

They need to be a tamed adult; to get the tamed adult you need to find a baby somewhere and tame it, then let it grow up

so we can feed the female without them being a pet? I guess I didn't realize we could feed the adults. thank you.

there a way to get the foxes to actually breed? or does that have to be modified in? we're caught foxes and put them alone in dark around food and stuff and no breedin. we havent seen a baby ever, wolf pups everywhere but never one fox pup

@VexnoTheFox Find a baby fox, trap it in a fence or a hole or something, and give it berries or meat. It uses the petAI taming system so itll take a few berries to fully tame.

How do i tame a fox in game?

I would love to see this updated for 1.17.* if you have the time?

Very cool mod. You even found out about this dirty workaround when human food does not work on pets and how to use it. Amazing work :)
