Adds 2 cellar doors that are made of ceramic and block 100% of light. In plain and decorated flavors.
Form two large ceramic slabs from clay then fire them in pit kilns, after that use mortar, sticks, and twine to stick the two together to make a plain cellar door.
The decorated version requires metal nails, a hammer, and a chisel.

gndrneutralnoun Hello! I actually tried to make the cellar doors use the new door code, but the new door code does not allow the door to block light so for now im using the old code.
Hi, I'm trying to use this with DanaTweaks' Auto Close function, but it doesn't work. According to Dana, this is due to these doors using old code. Is there any chance you could update the code for the doors to make them compatible? Or make them compatible in some other way? I really really really REALLY want to be able to auto close these, it would give me great peace of mind.
ext_ Yes, that is sadly a limitation I cannot get around. I tried making the cellar door the modern animated door block type which you only need one reinforcement for, but that block type is completely unable to block light.
Cellar doors are treated like two door halves instead of one door and because of that they have to be reinforced with plumb and square and locked twice, kind of sucks since it's 2x the cost
I just made this code mod that makes it so that the game checks what material doors are made out of to decide whether or not they keep in heat, like it does with other blocks, meaning that if you install it alongside Cellar Door then the Cellar Door will count as insulating blocks just like if you used stone or ceramic or soil blocks instead of a door.
1.19.0 rc1 still working and my favourite door n.n. Prefer a walk-in and also makes a neat entrance for some other stuff. Great mod.
Simple, elegant, essential.
Would love a 1x1 trapdoor for early game, or a separate mod for a low-tech trapdoor that seals. Surely some firewood, leaves, and some other material so it's not tooo easy to make.
Might I suggest adding a 1 block trap door for those of us who like to have access to our cellers from the celing? Maybe just have the sigle slab in the grid with a normal trapdoor for crafting?
Very nice, I've been hoping for a mod like this! Does it work in 1.15.5?
May I also suggest adding some planks to the crafting recipe for the door? I just feel like this sort of door being bound together by only mortar would be a bit weak- and maybe also prone to shattering. Could head-canon it so that there's channels in the slabs that you slide planks into and through, before mortaring together. XP
