Still in a testing phase.
Make sure you assign yourself a mailbox in order to receive items. You can change it later but once things are delivered they stay delivered.
Multiple people can share one mailbox. If you want security on your mailbox, use reinforcement or land claims as usual.
TODO:
- Return to sender / some sort of postmaster function for server admins
- Filter the list by people who actually have a mailbox. Currently if you send something to a person without a mailbox, it will just stay in the ether until they assign themselves one.
- Animate the flags to go up when there is mail in the box

1.0.5 release was bad due to some issues merging the new models. 1.0.6 should fix it. Trying to figure out a workflow that won't result in this happening again.

Mailboxes models updated by Anyanana to include animatable flags, but the flags are waiting on me to make them work.

It's kind of annoying to debug multiplayer code without uploading it to moddb, so I apologise if this first release isn't working very well. I would much prefer to get it all sorted first and present something bullet-proof.

You can post items to other players and they can pick them up from their mailbox.
Can be challenging to implement, but it would be nice to have words like "letters" and "post" translatable via lang files
I like this idea, if it could be configuable to have a cost that would be great... like a variable for the item type and the number to send.... maybe there could be a type and cost by distance, or cost by size? Just so we can adjust for servers so it's not too cheaty.
