Yeah, most of such issues are vanilla related bcs vsvillage uses most of the placement from vanilla besides making the grid and pathing.
I can make a vanilla issue for it if I find some time.

I wonder about the torch holders, if it's because they have a torch in them.  The vanilla ruins seem to have no issue with the different types of torch holders, but they don't have torches in them.  Same with The Dungeon mod.  It only has torch holders without the torches.  Maybe it's a vanilla thing?

Thanks for the heads up!
We are aware about the lighting problems we tried to make chiseled lighting blocks but they have their own issues.
We are going back to oil lamps for now.

Update soon.

Torch holders not attaching to walls.  Not sure if that is a building directional issue.
