Latest release (for Vintage Story 1.20.3, potentially outdated):
tradermult.zip
1-click install
You ever wanted to sell more or buy more? I did. So I made this. Enjoy.
By default the mod is set to multiply trader stock by 1 (which does literally nothing). Make sure to change it yourself in your ModConfigs directory, in the tradermult.json file.
IMPORTANT: ONLY TAKES EFFECT ON TRADER RESTOCK! YOU MUST WAIT FOR THE TRADER TO RESTOCK THEIR GOODS IF YOU USE THIS IN AN EXISTING WORLD.
(sorry, just had to make sure people would actually read that xd)

are you able to add an option to increase a traders amount of gears to trade with?
tofiktofik
I don't know anything about it, could you provide more details?
tofiktofik there's your problem! you gotta change the config setting to something besides 1. check tradermult.json in your mod configs directory.
I didn't change anything
tofiktofik weird; it's working for me. have you set the mult value to something besides 1 in config? by default it is set to multiply by 1 (which does nothing)
Kreeate i'm sure i could figure out a way to do that :]
Any way to multiply the amount of rusty gears the traders have?
It's kind of moot to multiply how much we can sell to them if they still have a low amount of gears available.
I don't really see a difference, many days have passed in the game and there have been no changes
No problem at all, just figured I'd make a quick post to let you know before it got too many downloads.
This is a good idea!
okay! should be fixed! my bad! xD
just noticed that; fixing now! >w>
Looks great, just to note the first uploaded version is archived incorrectly (opening the zip reveals a folder named tradermult with all the files inside).
