Doesn't have shortcutting I don't think but it does have click to craft!
Note: Haven't been active on this a bit, but have played around - plans:
- vanilla crafting window/inventory will be separate and this will just have search and bookmarked items
(so you could open vanilla crafting & inventory separately)
- will be a floating bookmarked items hubs you can turn on/off
This is an early testing version for feedback and bugfixes!
- creative search will start empty and only show search results for performance
- ideally i could hook into guidebook etc and let you bookmark things from the guidebook
Note: If you get the old inventory screen you need to change your key bindings in settings! (Set the Open TEI to E, and then open backpacks you could set to shift+E or something)
Replaces your VS Inventory screen with a new one! The new inventory screen allows bookmarking items for later, click to craft, and an item search function!
Features: Block Search screen (type in the filter to find something)
- CLICK the item to try to craft it if you have enough inventory (also uses any open containers!)
- CTRL+CLICK an item to add it to the "saved" list - this is like a todo list (lists are seperate per save game/server)
- (CTRL+CLICK in the Saved tab to remove the item)
Client side mod, doesn't need to be installed on a server!
This is meant to be like Just Enough Inventory/Never Enough Inventory which are common mods from Minecraft.

- you don't get the help file for hovered items when pressing H, but only when playing online

Vari_Ares it barely works in 1.19 honestly. I've just never got back to digging in. Especially with more than a few mods it just takes too much to load in all the blocks.
Doesn't work on 1.20 😢
I feel that having the ability to close the menu with the same key that opens it would be a big improvement.
when using this mod with servers it can cause huge lag
one way i can think around this is to make pages just like Minecraft
to avoid overwhelming a single UI with t oo much content causing lag
also need filter by mod <3

Hi, I tried the mod. I made sure that E was set properly and I changed the open backpacks key, but VS kept crashing when I pressed E for TEI (TEI was set correctly).
Hi! Is this for vanillia only or does it work with mods that add items and blocks to the game? For example ancient tools? Looks amazing btw! I've been wishing for something like JEI, especially as a new player.

It's not working. I installed and joined a server pressed "E" and still have the old inventory/crafting menu.
NVM..I forgot to set the key bind it now works
