I noticed there is a steel anvil in the game, but no way to obtain it. This mod adds the ability to smith it like the iron and meteoric anvils.

i was just more or less  copying the text from the handbook when i typed in steel  anvil lol Neververy4

SoggyGravel I hate to break it to you, but that is only true for Iron and Meteoric Iron; Steel Anvils are not craftable as of 1.20.7

 

https://wiki.vintagestory.at/Anvil, under Usage: "It's not possible to craft steel anvils at this time; there are also no metals in the game higher tier than steel."

 

Thankfully this mod exists, as I would like to make a steel anvil :)

steel anvil can be 100% obtained. it cannot be cast. but must be  smithed on another anvil. top and bottem. then after place the base with a  flux like borax then place the top then hit with a hammer a  few times and  you have yourself one.^_^
