Make's storage vessels preserve grains and vegetables twice as long (as oppposed to .5x and .75x. as in vanilla.) Intended to be used with my betterSealedCrocks mod. Here for autoinstall!

When I looked there was one but it was a few game versions out of date. Added ice chests.
That's why I made this mod and my better crocks mod. My crock mods makes crocks last basically forever, 100+ years.
Sirix: I have friends with lives outside a server, too, and was looking for any mod that made it so when a player logged off, their food wouldn't spoil. Is there any mod that would tie spoilage in containers to a player.. say, by who could have put a padlock on a container (make vessels and barrels lockable), have food gain player tags when collected only to spoil when they are on, or even create late-game containers that prevent spoilage outright?
Yep! It was initially a stop gap for my server. I can play a lot more often as I work from home so I wanted something to initially let people store food without getting screwed over if one person played way more often. Now that I figured out how to harmony patch the crocks, I nerfed them back to be closer to vanilla.
looking at the code, you seemed to have reverted the changes from .33 for all foods to just .5 for grains and veggies, is there a reason for this? I assume its cause of the intended use with the bettersealed crocks mod you made, but is that the entire reason?
By default its .5 and .75 for grains and vegetables. Now it's .33 for fruit, vegetables, protein, and grains.
Hey, since this is already a thing in vanilla, what does this change? You can already acheive 16% rate on everything other than a vegetable or grain with a vessel in a cellar and 27% with a vessel just sitting outside on the ground.
