This is 64x64 pixels texture pack for Vintage Story.
I'm a very new vintarian and I love the game. I like the vanilla look and mood but I wanted to try something with a little more resolution. As I am no artist, I tried to use one of these fancy AI upscalers to see what it could do.
It's not generative AI, it's just a variant of RealESRGAN balancing details / softness. A little cartoony. Base assets of the game have been upscaled 4x and then downsampled 2x to smooth everything a bit. And 64x64 is more manageable memory wise than 128x128.
Basically everythin is upscaled, the results largely keeps the vanilla feel while being a bit "flufflier".
