Adds six species of New Zealand frogs that spawn in different environments to your world. They can be caught and transported alive using a bug net. This mod includes Archey's frog (Leiopelma archeyi), Hamilton's frog (Leiopelma hamiltoni), Hochstetter's frog (Leiopelma hochstetteri), the Aurora frog (Leiopelma auroraensis)†, Markham's frog (Leiopelma markhami)†, and the Waitomo frog (Leiopelma waitomoensis)†.
Note: Species marked with † are extinct in the present day but existed within modern human history (the Holocene epoch), justifying their inclusion. These mods include only species that have been alive at some point within the past 12,000 years.

I think they are absolutely adorable, with how small you made them! They probly will be hard for me to find aswell but I feel that will make finding them all the more special haha ^_^

Thanks! I recognize them easily, as I am used to looking at small animals. You don't have to use these mods if you don't want to.
You have done a great job, but lots of the models in this and your other frog and gecko mods are so tiny, you barely recognize them. While this may be realistic, it does not justify the additional load on servers, imo. But neat for singleplayer and fans of the species.

wow this mod looks cool, I've just bought this game so doing a vanilla playthrough first before a modded one. This is definitely a mod I'll try first, the frog models look really cool!

Some do, some don't. These frogs don't call at all, but the ones from my other mods do. I tried to give several of them unique calls but recordings are not available for every species.
I have downloaded the other frog packs but not explored much. Does each species have unique calls?

I don't have a mod that adds tokays. I have not added any climbing creatures because of issues with the system I encountered when trying to do so. If I can sort those issues out, tokays are a possibility for the future.
Do you have tokays? im trying to find your specific pack that adds tokays en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tokay_gecko

My frogs can swim, but these ones prefer not to as they are mainly terrestrial, unlike the pond frogs I made earlier. I do plan on making more fish, but they will be freshwater as saltwater fish do not have fully functional spawn conditions yet.
Love your mods!! I would love to see more fish or other sea creatures! Anything you have in mind at the moment? Also, do the frogs swim? I haven't it noticed so far
