Server-Side Commands:
When updating the settings for this mod, changes may not take effect immediately. The climate systems in this game are very in-depth, and local weather can take a while to propagate.
However, weather side-effects, such as the player freezing in winter, should update immediately.
Command | Description |
---|---|
/nwn | Display the current settings for the mod. Admins only. |
/nwn min [-100.0 - 100.0] | Ensure the server temperature will never go under this limit. |
/nwn max [-100.0 - 100.0] | Ensure the server temperature will never go over this limit. |
/nwn season [spring|summer|autumn|winter|auto] | Force the season to be spring, summer, autumn, or winter, all year round. |
/nwn exclude [spring|summer|autumn|winter|none] | Exclude a season; spring, summer, autumn, or winter; from the annual cycle. EXPERMIENTAL! |
/nwn reset | Reset the mod back to factory settings. |
Many things in the game are determined by the time of year, including whether a player can freeze to death; the hours of daylight per day; growing seasons, and more. Bear this in mind when forcing a world to be set within a single season.
Known Issues:
In testing, it has been seen that the "Outside Temperature" display, on the character GUI, may not properly represent the overridden temperature values. However, this may have been a side-effect of testing the mod with a high game-speed. This will be monitored, as the mod is released, and changes can be made, if needs be.

DejFidOFF, I genuinely don't know the answers to any of those questions, I'm afraid. I did make sure that plants and crops would still grow with the options turned on here, but I haven't done any extensive testing on the mod. But now, looking at the game code, I think I can do a better job of controlling the temperature. I'll bring something out for this soon.
Apache

what can be the issue? thank you in advance!
MadreCherry, Unfortunately, the calendar system in this game is very strange. There's not much scope for customisation. I've done what I can here, but there's not much more that can happen, without an almost total re-write of the calendar system, and everything that ties into it.
I wish this included to be able to make spring x long and summer v long and fall b long and winter c long.
Rythillian I couldn't agree with you more than I do! Apache's work is always top notch!
Thanks again for this! Fantastic work, highly reccomend Apache as a modder!
