Modification adds 8 transport boxes for peppers, cabbages, carrots, onions, parsnips, turnips, olives and fish (work with fish from primitive survival mod), and 6 types of sacks for all types of grains, which make it possible to sell them at a market (e.g. at a trade'o'mat) without having to take care of their freshness.

Food put up for sale must have the same freshness value as the food in the player's inventory.
This mod allows vegetable/grain/fish items to be turned into blocks (crates/bags), so that the player can sell their food in e.g. admin shops.

To craft transport boxes you need 1 empty barrel and 64  vegetables or 16 fishes

To craft transport sack for grains you need 2 linen, and 2x64 grains

Note: Once a bag/box has been created, vegetables/grains/fish cannot be recovered again

Compatibility with Primitive Survival, Medieval Fashion

I plan to add more types of transport crates/barrels for other types of food and drink to make it easier for players to trade them.

I like the Idea but it would be cool to see that the grains could be retaken so player to player interaction via trading is possible and not adminshop only maybe the a bag whit ice or something need for that.

ArtiKs thx for feedback, I'll check whats going on with crash. Probably something is messing up the integration with the primitive survival modification.

I'm not familiar with trade o mat mod. I was thinking It was a means for one player to sell things to another. If so, why would anyone buy a bag of grain that can only be used as a decoration. Or is trade o mat a mod that just pays you for things that would make more sense.

Though, the decorative items themselves are a great idea.

I've always wanted that any food stored in a barrel or crate could render specifically to be displayed as a decorative block and didn't rot.
The trade off is that you can't get back the items used to craft this purely decorative block and that it can get expensive sometimes... this mod is a start to that.

The mod crashes if you hover over the fish barrel and press H to see a crafting recipe.
Does it require another mod?? As far as i know, you can't plant bellpeppers or get fish like that in vanilla, so that might be what's causing it to crash...

if you can't recover the grains/vegetables/fish once you've created the box/bag, what's the point of doing it? you lose food right? I didn't really understand anything.
Is it only for taking to the seller? I prefer that they serve to store and preserve said foods the truth

Raccoon this is not a modification to make cellars useless. The mod is only intended to make it easier to sell vegetables/fish/grains (e.g. using a trade'o'mat), because there will be no problem with the different freshness level of vegetables displayed at the sale and the freshness level of vegetables in the player's eq. If the player wants to sell their harvest by converting it into crates/bags from the mod, they will not be able to reuse it for e.g. cooking, they will only be able to sell it or use it as decoration.

I'm not sure how you go about getting the stuff back out once you put it in, but as long as you have to take it all out at once, and you can't take it out a few at a time, then it should not make cellars useless at all. Since you will still have to preserve the leftovers you removed. But if it still seems to game breaking, have it, so the container is lost when you remove the goods. The seller then adds the cost of packing to his price, so no lose to him, but anyone trying to use them to store all their goods instead of a cellar will spend a lot of resources remaking containers every time he needs a few cabbages or what ever.

Hm not sure if this approach is that good. Basically make cellars useless if you have enough. I like the idea though, im working on "packages" for cattails and common items, so you can sell them in bigger bulk.
