Simple mod that randomizes wind direction based on location and time. In vanilla, this only affects two things:
- The direction creatures are pushed by wind
- The direction falling items are pushed (visible mainly on maple seeds)
Most other things (like windmills, dust and smoke particles, etc.) are hardcoded to the vanilla direction and too much to change without a more serious attempt. This mod will likely be most useful with other mods that benefit from randomised wind.

would love config options for how often the wind changes

Absolutely. If it's a priority then I'll make sure to get on it sooner :)
Would it be possible for this to have a config that would allow changing how often the wind changes direction? As-is, it seems to change far too frequently.
RogueRaiden it won't right now but I'm working on an update for that, it might take a few days
would this affect Joy of Sailing wind direction?
