Voidwalker That's definately on my roadmap! When I get this working on roads (snowy roads are a variant, not a whole block) I'm also going to look into temporarily preventing snow/ice build up for a short period. 

I am planning to add snow shovels as well, so a long-term effect from salt would give an advantage to snow shoveling. 

I gotta admit I like the concept alot, and I can see that these would be useful during long winters or attempting an artic playthrough. Maybe you could make it act like a Fertalizer but on Roads so when you Salt them they'd add to a percentage that'd be eatten away as it snows to act like a long term Ice remover? So you need to salt paths to keep them clear for long periods for fast winter travel overland?
