I'm living in Ukraine and there is war happening right now. Most of my free time I spend on modding when I get a few hours between electricity blackouts.
If you love my work, you can support me on Patreon, I would greatly appreciate it ❤️. Donations keep me doing what I truly love - modding.
Visually replaces ore block's MODEL with more noticeable MODEL. NO NEW BLOCKS. NO NEW ITEMS.
This mod is feature-complete, that means that all features author wanted to add are already in the mod and further updates most likely will be bug fixes or to update codebase to support new versions.

With those of us with bad vision, this is a great mod!
best mod.
So there is no bounding box obstacles? Nice.
Wahazar Purely visual
How it is generated? These are just vanilla ore bits "glued" to ore in stone texture? Or special models?
AngryOscar Have you tested?
does this work with geology additions added ores?
A great idea and works well.
Absolutely love it! Those ores pop!! (latest VS 1.19)
This is a very nice mod, thank you :-)
1.19.pre8 works good
tRead not much, sadly. Best I've found is Glowing Ores and Bits mod which is helpful in low light levels, but in the worst cases I'll use a scanner mod to locate surface copper bits and tin bits to make bronze then go underground where glowing ores helps you find things in the caves.
Aspendosia
Are there any other tips or mods you'd recommend for playing VS with color-blindness?
Not sure if it would be an add-on for this mod or a new mod, but is there a way to make the ores you find on the ground equally 3d juicy? I had a run where I couldn't find surface tin (I'd made it common in world gen) but when I used a scanner mod I found the ore was everywhere, but brown 'highlights' on a dark block is invisible for me. 3d ore bits would help. Either way, love this mod and can't play without it.
Friggin very cool! Somehow adds more visual depth to the caves!
FWIW thank you for this mod. As someone who is colour blind, the 3d textures are really helping me, especially lead in shale. Cheers!
It does add some visual interest to ores, but I feel that it gets a bit cluttered and repetitive, especially for larger visible ore veins (quartz for example).
It would probably be more effort than you'd believe it to be worth (considering if it's even possible?), but I would suggest only having a random amount of protrusions from the ore, with maybe some variance in models- different shapes, different amounts of protrusions, etc. So, maybe 25-50% bare ore, the other 75-50% having a randomized model set.
Again, only a suggestion that you're obviously not beholden to in any way! It's still a good idea and good as is, even if not to my personal preference. :)
I feel like less protrustion might look nicer, but i guess we don't have that many pixels to work with here 😂
This is just amazing Visual work.. You should totally look into compatibility with the More Minerals Mod, and the More Metals Mod <3
Поверни параллелепипеды на кварцеподобных рудах, чтобы были острые углы.
I love stuff like this, thanks.
Did you consider using the ingame crystallized versions of ores? They are more interesting and complex than rectangles.
Will this mod work for other mods that add additional ores?
