This modification adds the craft of glass blowing to the game: melting, blowing, molding and processing glass products.
There are several ways to make glass items:
- Blowing - with the help of a special pipe and tools, you can give the glass any rounded shape.
- Molding - the glass is blown or poured into a prepared mold.
- Processing on a workbench - it is possible to create complex products using many parts and processing steps.
The modification also adds glass classification, so you can use many types and colors of glass in one recipe.
This mod adds only crafting mechanic, glass items and their recipes are added by other mods.

Getting a CTD when I try and place the Lathe. Any ideas what could be causing this? I have the crash reports if need be.
Also Don't seem to have the recipes for any of the tools outside of creative mode.
Remember kids, when blowing glass, do not inhale.
Does anyone have a list of mods this mod works with? The only one I found it Bricklayers and I couldn't get it to work on my server even with all of the compatibility mods. I would love to have this in my game, but there are no recipes for me to use.

The smeltery needs to be built, these translucent blocks are the building plan. Perhaps you have tooltips disabled, because when you hover over plan blocks, you can see the cost in materials. You can also see how many materials are needed in the handbook. Nalier
I tried this mod alone on Creative, but the Large Glass Smeltery doesn't work for me. When I place it in the world it looks like a brick block surrounded on all sides by transparent blocks.
The concept of the mod is excellent, though. I think it really fits with in-game mechanics.
I love this concept! Really excited to see where you take this, and when you release your electricity mod!
Unfortunately after adding this to my server I had a hard crash when right clicking on the glassmaker's table with an empty hand - I'm not sure if it might be due to some interaction, but here's the log just in case:

May I suggest looking into compatibility with the Brick Layers mod? It has a lot of mixtures for making colored glass and ceramic glazes. Having dark blue glass blocks would be so cool!
@1618 For example: jewelry, bottles, vials, cookware, chemical glassware. Personally for myself, i started making this system to add the ability to create vacuum tubes.
"...glass products." - Such as?
To me the best use of glass is Stained Glass and Lighting options. Something vanilla has way too little of.
