Layers of sticks are now a viable building block. They don't break into 9 sticks when mined. Put the layer of sticks in the crafting grid to retrieve the 9 sticks.

I'd suggest adding a recipe to disassemble the layer of sticks. Layer of sticks is really mportant in early game when inventory is short.
