This mod prevents all supernatural monsters from spawning.
It is recommended to disable Temporal storms from your game, as monsters might spawn during a storm.
I'm just a dabbling amateur modder, and I made this for myself really. If there are any issues, please let me know in the comments.

I tried something different for the new release, it should remove locusts entirely. asr11415 give it a try
YvonneS In this mod, only bronze locusts currently spawn(I am trying to figure out a fix). so no corrupted sawblades, no drifters, no bowtorns, no shivers, no bells.
If you want drifters, you can locally modify the mod, and remove the file "survival-entities-land-drifter.json" to reenable drifters.
Is it possible that only drifters spawn? I really hate the new monsters.
I just generated a world a few days ago and I am having locust nests with bronze locusts spawning in vanilla ruins and caves. I noticed you addressed this below and said it should only occur with an existing world but this is a new save that has never been loaded without this mod. Do you know why this is?
The_Red_God I have just released an update that should take care of all the bells and drifters and whatnot, this should be as airtight as possible.
note on locusts: my mod prevents locust nests from generating, so if you are using this mod with an already existing world, it will not prevent the nests from creating bronze locusts.
ok had a bell which spawned a deep drifter and corrupt locusts in a cave

The_Red_God I didn't touch any bosses, they should appear as normal.
But there again, the archives boss isn't really scary or anything.
Also, where did the bronze locusts spawn for you?

Does this mod stop mobs from spawning in structures/dungeons? I have no strong feelings either way, I'd just like to know so I don't get jumpscared by a locust or smth when I turn a corner in a vanilla/modded ruin.
I've added the mention of storms to the description, good catch. I made this mod because the other one that did this sadly likely will never get updated for 1.20, and it seemed easy to do on my own.
Thanks for the fix. It works great. I'm so glad to find this mod. In my last play session a surface shiver skittered out of a hole like a spider and it was just TOO much for me.
Just a note for others; monsters still spawn in temporal storms... but if you've got this mod you probably have temporal storms off too.

It says unable to load mod due to dependacy on 1.20.0. I am on 1.20-rc.8.
