@Blazha   This isn't true whatsoever. It's been a pain in my rear too, night will always spawn drifters and bowtorns no matter your temporal rift settings - Yes, even "off". Not invisible. Off. They still spawn.

I have rifts and all temporal activity off, but I still get monsters at night. They're not difficult, just annoying. I'll give this mod a shot.

Since 1.18 (or 1.17 can't really remember when they added those) rifts are the only way for monsters to spawn on surface. If you turn them invisible they will still spawn, but if you turn them off they won't (I can't stand their sound so I turned them off and haven't seen a single enemy on surface even on apocalyptic activity) . You can still get enemies on the surface if you are close to a cave entrance, but that happens even during the day

Rifts are different mechanic though? Monsters still spawn on surface during nighttime or in caves above sea level.

You can easily achieve this by turning temporal rifts off in the settings, that is their only purpose
