This mod adds a new tool mode to the hammer, "Automatic"
This will automatically smith for you as long as you keep hammering

Will remove slag, move voxels, and remove excess in that order

 

I've mainly made this mod for myself and to dip my toes in Vintage Story modding, I will not be maintaining this mod, you may check out Knapster (I didn't know this mod existed until someone pointed it out in the comments)

Not sure if you know about the mod Knapster or not.  It has auto smithing as one of the features you can do, along with knapping, clayforming, quern grinding, etc and you are able to control the speed at which it completes these tasks or if you want to enable/disable each type of help.

Either way, good to see people modding and practicing to create exactly what they want to see in the game.
