When using the tab key for inventory, you normally can't open the inventory while the handbook or other menus are open. Pressing the tab key only changes the focus element of the currently open menu.
This mod disables the focus functionality, allowing you to open the inventory at any time.
It has been tested only on version 1.19.8.

Sorry for the deactivated search field, this bug should be fixed now.

thank you for reportig the bug. I'll take a look into fixing this!
I love the idea of this mod and it does seem to work at first glance, however with this mod active I can't search for stuff in the handbook anymore. My inputs just go right "through" it, even when highlighting the searchbox with a mouseclick. Like typing "A" just makes my character move. If that's fixed, the mod is perfect! Tested on 1.19.8

Oh my GOD thank you so much for this, I always use Tab for inventory in every game and not being able to disable Tab focus was driving me crazy.
