Sadly it doesn't work at all. TAB key - even if not visibly bound to anything else than being an inventory key - is still rotating through UI instead of closing/toggling the window.

God glibc just won't let me play this game.

The breakage is probably caused by `Updated Harmony to 2.3.5 which should fix issue when using Harmony mods on linux systems using GLIBC 2.41 and newer `

hello !! mod no longer seems to work as of 1.20.6; worked well up until i installed the update just a few minutes ago

thanks for this mod, TAB has always been the inventory so having menus constantly cycle through boxes instead was a gamebreaker

I uploaded a new version where you no longer need to click into the chat window. However, I can't find any solution to your SMP problem. For me, it works when I join a self-hosted server (open to LAN and join), but it doesn't work when I join an official VintageStory server.

From my understanding, this is intentional by the developers so that you can't use mods for hacking and so on. See these statements:

"Does not support 3rd party mods, meaning mods not created by Anego Studios directly cannot be installed."
and
"Installation of 3rd party mods is currently not supported. We have no ETA yet for when this feature will become available."

So we got it to work after turning it off and on again repeatedly" - Sounds like a frustrating experience, I have to admit that I didn't think that it would make a difference in multiplayer compared to single player because this is just a client side mod, so I didn't test this case. But thanks alot for the information; I will do some research on why it´s behaving this way.

I'm not really sure how its working for Silhouette, because it isn't working still for me or my friend. I can see it in the mods list, its enabled, but it does nothing.

EDIT: On extensive testing, it always works in single player for me, no matter how many mods; however, even without any extra mods at all, it does not work in SMP.

Could you please do me a favor and check if the new version of the mod is visible and active in the mod manager inside Vintage Story?
And if it is, could you please verify whether this problem still occurs while all other mods are deactivated?

I love the idea of this mod and it does seem to work at first glance, however with this mod active I can't search for stuff in the handbook anymore. My inputs just go right "through" it, even when highlighting the searchbox with a mouseclick. Like typing "A" just makes my character move. If that's fixed, the mod is perfect! Tested on 1.19.8

Oh my GOD thank you so much for this, I always use Tab for inventory in every game and not being able to disable Tab focus was driving me crazy.
