Latest release (for Vintage Story 1.21.0 and 1.21.1, outdated):
TameableLocustsv1.0.3.zip 1-click install
for VS 1.19 use PetAI v2.2.6
for VS 1.20 use PetAI v3.1.2 to 3.4.3
for VS 1.21 use PetAI v4.0.0 or newer
Taming process:
- hack a bronce locust or corrupt locust with a tuning spear, you need to be clockmaker class for that
- you can tame the hacked locust with metal parts so it turns into a PetAI pet, one metal part gives 50% progress
Please tell me if common features from other PetAI pets are missing, Im unfamiliar with what is possible in PetAI.

How do you increase the locusts obedience? I've tried metal parts and scraps, what are you supposed to use?

Tamed Locusts are a seperate entity from the vanilla locusts. Im not familiar how repairable locust mod is working but my guess is that it changes the vanilla locust, so tamed locusts and repairable locusts are seperate entities. Gantradies
does it work with/effects the changes from Repairable Locust?

Also is there a way to remove or revive a dead pet locust? Been sitting in my front yard for a couple of days now
oh and it posible to make tamed sawblade locust that was tamed by hacked locust mod?
like when you giving metal parts to sawblade locust it work you can give him name but name not displaying and commands not working

In protective mode they will attack anything that you attack. I think you punched your own locust by mistake and then the other locusts attack them. There is a mod that fixes this in PetAI mods.vintagestory.at/donthityourpets and PetAI 3.2.0 seems to have included this aswell.

hello idk why but when i activate defense mode tamed locust starting attack another tamed locust
Blaankket I just tested it myself and it's working. It is Shift + Rightclick with a metal part in hand for me (might be Control + Rightclick for others, Im not sure if I switched shift and control compared to default).
Unfortunately in my testing I was unable to use metal parts on the hacked locusts, whether corrupt or bronze.
