Features & Info:


Misaki's Immersive Foliage (MIF) is a total remodel of the leaf blocks and their subsequent textures to bring a more robust composition to trees and bushes! The model itself is quite complex, but due to optimizations even in singleplayer MIF (lite) runs approximately the same / faster than vanilla! On multiplayer both Lite and Full are comparably fast!

 

  • New Models / Textures for all the leaves and bushes
  • Rework of branchy leaves to be more subtle from above/side and more obvious from below
  • Branchy leaf collision removed for full mobility through the underbrush
  • Gradient shading to blend with rendering, ESPECIALLY noticeable on mid-far tree lines!
  • BUT the 'lite' version comes without the extra shading for those who want to prioritize performance (as fast as vanilla)

Configuration:


  • MIF is universally sided and is configurable on server-side only (for singleplayer, it's just normal config)
  • There are two main versions that can be swapped via config:
    • Lite -> Default version, prioritizes performance with
      less complex models and flatter shading (no noticeable drop from vanilla)
    • Full -> Extra bushy models with more dynamic shading,
      especially for mid-far tree lines, (5-10 fps drop from vanilla)
  • Berry bush models can be toggled on/off for the vanilla blockiness (vanilla makes them feel "larger" and "taller")
  • Whenever you change the config, you need to restart the server or reload your singleplayer world for them to take effect!

Wanda's Gizmos / Movement Tweaks (WGMT): Released! (Rope Config update soon)
A fully-functional grappling hook, with two modes: "Indiana Jones" esque swinging, or "James Bond's grapple-gun" as a mechanized pull. Balanced based on how much rope you have! Will be paired with new movement such as diving, rolling, vaulting, sliding down steep walls, hanging, and more! Each WGMT update will come with two versions, "Pure" grappling hook-only, and "Full" with both grappling hook and the movement tweaks too!

Sofia's Reach-Around (RS): Beta (Initial release Soon)
A port of the quark / MC Bedrock mechanic to place blocks from the top/side without directly looking at the face

Nia's Realistic Soil (MIF): Alpha (Initial release TBD)
A recoloring of all dirt to match the rock strata below it for better blending (don't worry, it won't add 20 new dirt varieties, or need new worldgen)

Was just going to echo the same comment from pariba about the Real Grapes mod.  Was speaking with Ape about it and they said to contact you about making it compatible.

hey how could i go about making a patch for a different mod? the real grapes mod adds bushes but they have messed up textures which is probably because theres some incompatibility

How can I turn off The Berry bushes foliage? I like it on The trees, but not on The bushes...

@Aerra hmm  here a screenshot of 2 i found. they where like that  after world gen.  they dotn crash game till you look them up in guide. one of them went invisible after the crash. once remove this mod both where back. if they not doing it for you its possible it can be something with world generaton and how they spawn certain way cause it maybe.

Sidfu Thank you for the report! Unfortunately I'm unable to replicate it in either singleplayer or multiplayer using all of the Wildcraft and Floral Series mods.

Can you provide an example of a specific fruit tree that was causing you trouble, and the config settings you were using at the time?

causes crash with wildcraft:fruit and nuts. the issue is the fruit trees. ingame they be texture all messed up but if you look at handbook for them they crash game. verfied by removing this mod and they fixed

Sidfu That's true :) We can certainly add a config option to re-enable it if desired.

Our reasoning behind this change was simply that standing on the new models looks a bit floaty and strange, as they are smaller and don't completely fill out the default collision cube.

seems like a good mod but the removal of collsion is a  arbitary change imo. i would recommend haveing a seprate version of the mod without those types of changes.
