There is nothing we can do about these false positive. As it is an executable file unknow from antivirus, it is potentially "suspect". Many anti virus may suspect and warm about it. If you have a look to the download page of VintageStory installer, There is the message : "notice: If you use BitDefender, disable it, it silently blocks this site". So even an "official" file can have issue with anti-virus. In case of doubt from your part, either you don't trust and you leave or you can try several other detection sites. But I guess you always find some with the same warning.
Don't forget that even mods can contain virus.
Just wondering, virustotal is showing a few red flags when I scan the exe, how come?
Laerinok Yes there are some similar out there. Made based on one of them for learning my self too ^^
Aspenizcool Thats its purpous, find what needs a update. Why you only get half way through i have to look in too.
MagentaLizard I see, what i can see in that mods modinfo.json is that it have caps in its keys. So i have to fix for that.
Well, I saw a quite similar mod's name somewhere here and it does the same job 😉
I did not yet use yours, but I will have a look into the sources. It is always instructive for learning.
it seems to just find a mod that needs an update, get half through downloading said update, then closing
Key 'name' was not found in mod_info_json for More Animals mod
