Hey man! amazing mod, this helped us a lot, Question, will this mod get compatibility for Combat overhaul? currently it crashes the game when you have that mod installed and you try to open up the rift eye menu

depends where you wanna set it (the UID), mostly it will be set inside of the objects and as an key so you have to replace both. Ideally you do that in c# then you can use the game to deserialize and serialize it.
If a player is online they data is loaded form the savegame and needs to be updated in memory and eventuall update the online player else certani actions by that player may cause a crash due to inconsitency

I have looked into the playerdata's layout quite a lot over the last year and im a bit familiar with how its encoded but i still cant make a proper UID change by hand, by editing the hex. Maybe if you just tell the game to replace it, it gets easier because the game itself sorts this out?

Also, what do you mean by offline and online differences?

It should be possible yes, but I have not yet tried to work ony anything to save changes to other player since you have to consider offline and online and properly update those without causing issues
but I hope to one day add such modify features maybe not for waypoints but for inventory, groups, land claims 

for waypoints there are some mods out here maybe those allow to do so

Hey, since you're just reading from the playerdata blob to get most of this data, would it be possible to let use change the playerUID of the player we're looking at, effectively moving everything that player has onto someone else? Waypoints and all?

can this mod be used to view players not currently online
their inventory
i have a player that cant log back on and they are getting a crash of an item in their inventory causing it and am hoping this mod would work, im currently installing to see if it will let me access an offline players inventory

you can, once you are loaded in a world and open the setting you can see it under "User Interface" > "Player management and inspection"

but I will rename it to Rifteye in the next update

Is it possible to implement changing letter for opening in config file?

Just because P for opening gui uses mods - Chisel tools, Mod config, RP voice chat etc.

And I really don´t wont to tell to players again - hey for using RP Voice chat you need remap letter for Rifteye.

That would not help in your situation since first you can't take anything from the viewed inventory and second it would most likely also be bugged or not display that item.

Th3Dilli Could you make this mod able to view inventories of all entities? I have a corpse with items on it, which I can't pick up because one of the items are bugged.
