This is a simple mod created by Vskeleton and TeacupAngel to revert combat in 1.16 to resemble more closely how it was in 1.15 and prior. 

The following changes have been made:

• Swords will no longer have a windup time as spears do.
• Drifters will no longer throw rocks.
• The Player should no longer be subject to knockback.

Why this mod exists:

 The features this mod restores were placeholders for the ones that are added in vanilla, I think the vanilla changes are good and the "Jank" and m"Cheese" associated with their addition should not stay features in Vintage Story long term, however, Myself and a few others feel that with the absense of more in depth features to replace the removed content, it makes more sense to have things such as ranged monster attacks and knockback added at a later date once the game is more accomodating of such things. I had planned to also revert wolves diving after players in water however the effort to do so would have been much greater than the rest of this mod, this is the first one I have made and as such I was not sure how to go about doing so, TeacupAngel probably could have figured it out but I felt it was not nescesary for now. If somebody voices a strong desire to remove diving I will see if I can figure it out and do so.
