Starting with v1.19.3 of the game drifters can spawn on loose stones. This mod reverts that change to prevent them from doing so. \o/

this mod really needs an upate since the new mobs can still freely spawn on the stones, mining sure is scarry when a bellhead shiver sneaks up behind me

I really don't like they removed this from the game, sure some might think it's "cheesing" but honestly I'd rather be able to have a safe room in a storm to just grind some flour or sift all that boney soil I build up over time and just chill watching the storm in a single room of my house
or being able to cover my tracks in a mineshaft so I'm not getting spooked to death in close quarters
game's already scary enough plz let me have some sort of safety :C

Very appreciated for this mod

SuaveDoggo The reason drifters can spawn in carpets is because carpets in VS are treated as a decor layer (something overlayed on top of a block, like moss and stone cracks), and not as a block. So as far as the game is concerned, it's air.

Preventing drifter spawn should probably work with any thin block, like loose sticks, single-height panned gravel, candles, boulders, clutters, blocks chiseled to be only one voxel high, carcasses, paintings from Joy of Painting...

SuaveDoggo, It's actually extremely simple. All this mod does is replace the "insideBlockCodes" from this ["air","tallgrass-*","loosestones-*"] back to the original of this ["air","tallgrass-*"]. You could very easily do the opposite and add more values to it instead.

I'm not sure if this mod just reverts to old code or was actually rewrote to mimick the old bug, but I'd love for a version of this that gave more "options" for things to prevent spawns, like carpets and such ! A more aesthetically pleasing alternative, though that's probably a lot more work than it's worth
