Somewhat. More specifically, I only affect sunlight colour when it is actually night. This is not something that can be done reliably with a simple texture replacement, because the sunlight texture is seemingly affected by a random daily horizontal offset, which makes crepuscular hours completely unpredictable.

Moreover, by doing this programmatically, I also reduce overlap with other mods that change the colour of daylight or twilight. This mod simply assures that nights will have a bluish hue.

Thanks for the feedback! It certainly was the most common complaint, so I thought to address it.

Ah, nice change. I didn't quite like it before because of how it completely killed off the sunset, it's MUCH better now.

Am I correct in assuming that you managed to split entirely the terrain and sky colormaps in v2.0.0? That's why the mod went from a texture change to a dll?

Where I live the sunset is always warmer, but never gets to the tone of the second screenshot.

Unfortunately so. Normally, the ambient colour should be a reflection of the sky. In this game, however, both the ambient colour and the sun's colour seem to be tied to an arbitrary colourmap. Because of this, there is no easy way to guarantee that sunset/sunrise colours are used at the correct times throughout the year — or that daylight matches the sun's position at all. This is why the crepuscular redness had to be removed altogether.

yea i always found it weird why the color of night is red in the game

doesn't make sense to have a warm color for darkness
