Have you ever found stone bricks too monotonous to create, or simply want to work with them earlier? This mod simply changes the recipe of bricks to a combination of clay and stones.
It alters the recipes of:
- Stone bricks (item) (5 clay, 4 stones)
- Stone brick blocks (5 clay, 4 stone bricks)
- Stone brick slab (3 stone brick blocks)
- Stone brick stairs (3 stone brick blocks)
This mod is supported for all versions between 1.9.14 and 1.18.1. If you are using a version before the 1.13 update, you need to use the specific "pre-1.13.0" file. Please let me know if any version doesn't work as intended.

Any chance to add this as an additional recipe without removing the original recipe for the stone brick item? Since I have a chisel now it feels like a waste to use so much clay for the first step of the recipe

The mod doesn't add any blocks or items, so everything remains! Only the recipe will disappear.

What happens if I delete this mod later? Does only the recipe disappears or also all blocks crafted through it?

Thanks for point that error out, RikeiR, not sure what happened but the modicon in the zip file seemed to have got corrupted.
There's a new version that's fixed - It should support any version, not just 1.18.8.

Yeah haha, I've been told. I'm not gonna be supporting versions too old anymore lol.
With the mod being just asset patches it worked without any modifications, so most of the work was adding in the tags lol
No one is using versions older than 1.17
