Latest release (for Vintage Story 1.19.4, outdated):

The default name tag rendering range is 999, which is a bit too much. I have written this mod to be able to edit the range easily. I've also exposed the showtagonlywhentargeted property.
Configuring:
- Go into assets/patches/nameplate-configuration.json
- Change the value fields to whatever you'd like (the first value, under renderRange, can only be a number; the second value, under showtagonlywhentargeted, can either be true or false
- When you load up the server, the configuration should be applied.

No plans to update the mod, but looking at the files, it should still work with 1.20.3

WIll this be updated to 1.20.3 and maybe have option to hide nametags completely..?
Or do I just make range super short so they have to be stnading in front of me when we see it..hmmm
