Placeable item frame that displays item or block stored inside it.

This mod is feature-complete, that means that all features author wanted to add are already in the mod and further updates most likely will be bug fixes or to update codebase to support new versions.

Use any pigment on it to make stored item appear.

There are three variants (frameless, wood framed, metal framed) and two sizes (small and big) available. Small size is crafted from 1 parchment, while bigger size requires 2 parchments

  • Item Frame
  • Glow Item Frame (creative only)

Sneezingprince I didn't update it, I only added 1.21 to supported versions

Sneezingprince, Sep 4th 2025 at 2:29 PM

Thanks for the update!

I looked into it and couldn't find a way to fix it

Shazza I will try to look at that once 1.20 is stable

Unfortunately bugged in 1.20, likely because of changes to container logic.

Attempting to put in an item and use a suitable pigment to 'print' results in either no print, or a ghost-state print that, when removing the item inside, causes the item frame's model to vanish, or removes the printed item.

For anyone who sees theis place the item in the frame then write on it with chaulk or malachite or charcoal and the item will then be shown!
