This mod just override problematic model. Nothing else.
You still have to set "maxAnimatedElements" configuration in the clientsettings.json to 34.

Some may question if this is a virus based upon the Author's name and I don't believe so whatsoever. It is a legit mod. Don't know if it works but it is legit.
So this mod likely does solve the issue that it advertises. But for my friend with issues because of the sucky Intel chip that she has this has not resolved her issue. But I have no negative effects from running this mod.
Don't forget to do the second part of this mod's instructions: edit your clientsettings.json file. That edit will help at any rate.
