Ving As AmberWing pointed out, the side faces read "boid". The rest is just to make it stand out (i.e. not look like a particle) while being boring enough not to risk triggering some other common phobia.

just for curiosity: what is the new model supposed to look like? what inspired you to make it look like this? are the black parts eyes?

As of 1.6.0 the mod will boid-ify everything if client-side and disable spawning if server-side; singleplayer will necessarily do both. Let me know if anyone actually wants to spawn boids in singleplayer, in which case I'll see about separating the behaviors.

Lepidopterophobia is the fear of butterflies and moths. I suffer when almost any flying insect is too close, so it's not butterfly/moth specific, but they ARE included thanks to grandma's stories. Forever traumatized, i guess.

So what is the name for a phobia to moths I wander?

I spose if it can be said I have any phobia at all, it would be to official papers. Anything comes in the mail from insurance or government or business and I feel ill. Anything official from assholes with the power to fry my life. But I'm not sure if that counts as irrational. It is the thing I hate the most, nonetheless. You wouldn't have a mod that can make them look like greeting cards, would you.

Mendall  Phobias are by definition irrational. I have stood at the edges of cliffs and felt fine, but seeing a picture of a sea creature makes me feel like throwing up for at least a few minutes. Also, a phobia is not strictly a fear- it encompasses a range of negative feelings. Think of it like PTSD; if someone were having an episode, you wouldn't dismiss it because there are no guns in the room and no chance of death.

I once dated a girl that was super scared of moths. I could never understand it, they didn't even have a mouth to bit with. And were as soft as tissue paper.

If you like, create a mod for archanophobes by modifying the locusts and shivers. I've been looking for months for a friend of mine, and it's making her nauseous because there are too many legs swarming around. 😅

As someone who has thalassophobia, I appreciate mods like this. The slimy little things in ponds don't usually bothher me, but even a minnow in deep water terrifies me.

Cuiwi I'm not sure why, but my phobia is severe enough that I couldn't even begin exposure therapy. Even talking about it for more than a minute or two is a problem. Anyway, I also think the new models are funny, so maybe non-phobic individuals will get a kick out of it as well.

I feel like therapy is in order and would be helpful for those who would need this, but I can't diss more accessibility options!
