Have you ever spotted a bear near your village and needed to quickly point it out to your friends? Well we can't point in Vintage Story, so here's the next best thing! Hey, Over Here! Is a mod that allows you to mark either a position or a block, effectively pointing them in the right direction!

Markers will display through walls, so you'll never miss it! You can use a block marker to select a block for marking, or use the position marker. Make sure you set keybinds for both!

Hey Heebeejeebees, thankfully the dummy texture was in fact the solution that I thought of after discovering it was the fact I was using a missing texture. The personalization option is something I've got in the back of my mind, and ideally I'd want that to be modifiable in game instead of through file manipulation. That's something I'll plan on if I'm able to learn how UI is done.

Hi. I'm the "Friend" that created the trollface unknown mod. She also forwarded me the conversation you had with her in DIscord, and you could go about this one of two ways since texture is undefined:

Go with a 1x1 dummy texture that's white and tint that accordingly
Create an example image that textures the arrow and cube for peple who want to personalize the appearance of the arrow and block outlines

Either way, that'd work. For people going with a certain theme option two would allow the most flexibility. Pair that with making it a fullbright asset and letting users personalize the tint in JSON.
