Hate getting sniped in the dark by Bowtorns? While this mod can't fix your foolish desire to enter caves or your lack of skill at dodging projectiles, it might make the dangers lurking inside slightly easier to see.
Color options (All options require Config Lib with the exception of blue. Make sure to save the config and re-enter the world for the changes to be applied.):
- Blue (default)
- Red
- Green
- Yellow (Requires turning off all other colors. Incredibly OP and not recommended. May also prevent other mobs from spawning.)
Bowtorn variants have different light levels by default with higher level ones being more difficult to see.

Nope, as far as I know I haven't died in the world at all.
Did your character die and respawn recently? It could be the glow is from you not from the mobs. I died recently in my game and noticed blue when I was up close to the bowtorns but they turned red when I got far away from them. That's pretty much all I can think of because I can't re-create the issue on my end. prototype464
On ConfigLib's UI? Yep. Even tried restarting my game.
Did you press "save" and re-enter the world? prototype464
The settings do not appear to work. Spawning bowtorns in creative mode and having it set to the red setting, the glow is still blue.
Very nice. Can't wait to add this (set to the red setting) and Shiver Tweaks. Keep making mods like this, I love it.
That makes them somehow more terrifying! I like it.
