I wrote this as a quick patch as a first attempt at modding, partially for someone who expressed just wanting a different font for signs. depending on what you mean by customizable text (being able to choose fonts? bold/italics? not sure) that's a much bigger mod that i'm not sure I'm able to make right now. Maybe not impossible- but from what I understand based on how signs are implemented it'd be much more of a struggle (also: the more moving parts that are in the mod the more liable it is to break between releases. this mod should, theoretically, be stable so long as they don't mess with signs too much- i'm not sure i'll have the interest to maintain mods long-term)
