Great mod! I'm currently playing on a server with my partner, and she has no collision with the plain sofa whereas i do. Any idea why? It could be a weird mod interaction as we're playing with about 100
SalazarWindriver the handbook states all items that have storage, food storage and regular storage. Handbook is the only place I have a list of items, but you can also look in the lang files and do a ctrl f in the text file to find things easier. If you'd like the candle shelf to have storage, I can certainly add that to the next release! Seems like a good place to store candles :)
is there a list of items that have storage besides the handbook? I don't see the brass candle shelf listed at all and I don't want to waste space testing at the moment
ArcaneMagpie I can see where not having easy access to these veggies would give you more of a reason to travel and find traders, though that is just me. I can put this on my list for the next update to have alternate recipes just in case! I just released a hot fix basically to add the mod config but thats all that was updated. If you want to change it for your game while I work on the next update, you would go into the recipes folder and find the file (its in kitchendecor folder) and instead of vegetable-turnip you would change it to whatever veggie you are wanting to craft it with. To find the name of the veggie in game, you can hold the item in game and type .gencraftjson and it will copy the name to your clipboard on your computer. I vaguely remember not being able to make it just use all vegetables interchangably which I think is why its not that way right now. However I could be wrong. The veg storage items were one of the first blocks I ever made after the stoves so my baby modder knowledge was probably very lacking!
Love this mod, we used to use the ZeeKea mod a long time ago for our decorative needs, before the modder moved on. But the details on this one is awesome! One suggestion, something that we miss from ZeeKea is the ability to choose the combo of wood and stone for things like the cabinets. I think the only way they did it in ZeeKea without making a million entries in the hand book is the cabinet wood part and cabinet stone top were separate recidpes and you put the wood part down first then put the counter top and somehow it melded the two together. Hope this gives some food for thought!
Love the mod! It is great for making spaces feel lived in without having to chisel like a madlad, and the models fit the aesthetic of the game amazingly. Although kind of a nitpick, could you make the Vegetable Storage and Wall Vegetable Storage use any vegetable for crafting (similar to how the breadboxes can use any grain) instead of only turnips or only turnips and carrots? Or have an alternative one that displays hot produce like cassava and soybeans? (I assume you made those vegetables a requirement because they are shown in the model). It just makes it almost impossible to craft them if you live in a hot climate because turnips and carrots are more warm/temperate climate produce. This also kinda goes for Anthro, Mossy Pink, and Purple Tile as well, because you cant really get bushes there; although, I will admit I am at a loss for those because I do not know a hot alternative to berries.
xXx_Ape_xXx Thank you for catching this! I will have it fixed with the next update
waterdrinker
The recipe for the Grave uses the wrong type for the stones, preventing it from working correctly.
Change this line in the recipe: "L": { type: "block", code: "stone-*", name: "rock", quantity: 4 }
To this: "L": { type: "item", code: "stone-*", name: "rock", quantity: 4 }
Laguna its leftover from when I made my 'liberated beds' mod and forgot to remove the recipe. Oops! It will be removed in the next update. It shouldn't cause any lag or impact anything else so you can just disregard :)
Victim I'd love for the stove to visually show something as well. Its on our list of 'to dos' for this mod but we havent quite figured out how to do it yet. I'm glad you're enjoying it though! I think we may be able to fix the sound issue easily though!
LadyBlakeHammer Will be in the next update! I have a preview on the mod channel in the discord if you want to check it out.
MarleyMog This is absolutely criminal of me I am so sorry. I've fixed it and it will be on the next update!
Was curious if it was possible to add an indicator for the stoves that they are on? Ideally visually, but even jsut the sound of the pot cooking would be great. Ultimately not a huge deal if not, love finally having actual kitchen appliances rather than a wooden counter full of firepits lol.
I get the following error and I don't know how to solve it. any ideas? Great mod, I love it!
29.9.2024 20:01:16 [Server Error] Grid Recipe with output Block code decor:fancydrapesbed-fancydrapes-head-north contains an ing
redient pattern code P but supplies no ingredient for it.
Hello, Hi, may I make a suggestion. More versions of those cheap sconces, but they correspond to their nugget type?
Like an Iron Sconce for the Iron Nugget variants?
>>I think the Brass Sconces don't match my current build.
Whenever is fine, this isn't a player-quit moment ♥♥
The Honey Storage Shelf, and Fat Storage Shelf arent on the same plane. This is super small but also.. so so annoying. Pleeease fix x.x
The server, myself, and this user should have Deco Bazaar at its latest version.
Though upon further testing, and resetting the server for our new playthrough, the problem solved itself.
LadyBlakeHammer I'm sorry you are having a bug! Let me just make sure I am fully understanding the issue. Are you saying that you and another player have the sewing shelf item and are experiencing different inventory sizes on a server? If thats the case, that is very strange, I will have to do some digging to see why thats happening. Can you confirm that both you and the user have the most updated version of the mod downloaded (I'm not super familiar with how servers work, not sure if thats even possible).
I had to edit this to sound less annoyed/annoying, now that my head is clear and someone got on to test it today.
Other User: 2x4 Inventory (Sewing Shelf)
Myself: 4x4 Intentory (Sewing Shelf)
I don't know of any mods that change inventory, client-side, etc.
WickedSchnitzel I think the best route for me to go is to figure out how to make my mod have a config file so people can adjust the rates freely themselves but leave it to default to vanilla like you said.
I have only tried this with dark floral carpet but you can place multiple carpets on the same block and they'll just disappear; breaking the carpet only yielded one placeable carpet block.
I believe the spoilage rates of your containers should be compatible to vanilla (depending on the costs maybe a bit slower spoiling) and if certain servers want to decrease these even more, they can just do it via /worldconfig foodSpoilSpeed in general
That might work as a compromise. That way, those who want just the decor can have the decor while those who also want the bonuses can have the bonuses too. I like how they are not only pretty but practical too ^_^
xXx_Ape_xXx OMGDeadtoast OMG yall Im so sorry. Trying to satisfy some people I guess made it so others arent satisfied :( For servers, I am pretty sure you can reduce spoilage rates in the server settings (dont quote me on this). I tried to just slightly tweak the spoilage times and even doing that, when sticking it in a cellar the spoilage rates turned into 20+ years on all food items. This mod is definitely primarily for decorative purposes. If you are only using the mod for the storage containers and want accelerated storage, I can certainly separate that and make it a separate mod! Thoughts?
I'm with Ape. The bonuses were nice for multiplayer servers with international members and busy irl schedules so people didn't have to no life farming and cooking to keep fellow villagers fed.
Making the food storage options the same as vanilla, kinda makes this mod obsolete, if not only having it for the decorative bits'n bobs. Would be fine if you reduced the values a bit, but the same as vanilla vessels? Why even make them.. Not a huge fan of this update tbh!
WickedSchnitzel I'll look into making this a hotfix! Going to be honest, this mod started as primarily decorative and the functionality of items were kind of an afterthought. As its developed, i've gotten more feedback on things like this. I've seen a few other people mention the storage times as well so I can look into making them more realistic and challenging (as well as the recipes to make the items)! Thanks for relaying the message :)
*edit: just put the hotfix out and adjusted all the food storage to the same as vessels. Even adjusting to just one digit below the vessel storage made the times unrealistic in a cellar so I just matched them to the vessel.
This is some feedback from players on my server:
You only need a little grass, grain, and wood to make items that make vanilla ones obsolete.
Yeah, the Veggie Storage and Breadbox are broken as hell. I'd love to keep them for the look, but maybe with only a 50% increase in storage time? Or less?
They make pickling vegetables and building a cold basement worthless.
Thank you for the awsome mod and for listening to feedback!
Honestly, I'd be thrilled with any and all options anyone made to display weapons (and maybe shields) in a decorative manner. Ye Olde Crossed Swords on the wall that you see in every medieval movie; the classic katana and wakizashi stand that every sketchy dude in the 90s seemed to own or want; a display case like you'd see in a museum; plaques to hold one sword, two swords, even three vertically; standard weapon racks with slots for 5 or 6 things to fit into horizontally. Any or all of these would make me a happy person. I almost always get to a point in my game where I end up with a room that turns into some kind of museum or trophy room and even though I almost exclusively use javelins and bows, I still forge weapons just because I like to put them on the walls to look at, even though the generic tool rack looks kinda blah, it's just the only option currently. I figured with all the cool offerings and variations your lovely decor mod has, this might be something you'd consider at some point in your busy schedule.
I'll look into chisel tools! I had no idea they had anything like that.
Thanks, waterdrinker!
DrBubba I can see what I can do! In the mean time, I know Chisel Tools lets you chisel a custom tool rack so you can make them look however you want. Are you wanting more of a weapon display case instead of a rack though?
Shinohoyo I understand what you're suggesting, I think I have an idea I can make this work for. Stay tuned!
Heya, waterdrinker! Would you consider adding something like this to this mod?
Could you make a set? Like 1x1's designed to go ontop of the other block, range bottom and top or something like that?
TheeAriaLee Hello! 99% of the recipes that have variants (excluding the oven that has 2 different recipes) all are the same except just take all variants of planks/ore/stone in a different pattern for each block. I hope that helps! Is there a particular recipe you are struggling with?
Shinohoyo This mod has stoves as well as ovens. I see the handbook list only links to the oven blocks and doesnt list the stoves so I will put that in the next update. As for a combo, I think that might be very difficult with the current limitations of the VS engine.
NathRae This mod is compatable with all of those mods! :) Currently no conflicts with this mod that I know of.
Hii! Sorry if this has already been answered, but is this currently only compatible with Wildcraft Trees? I've been dying to redecorate my homes again, and I wanted to make sure mods like Culinary Artillary/Expanded Foods, Herbarium/Wildcraft, or any others that include their own furniture crafting recipes, won't end up create complications..
Thanks in advance! :)
The handbook entries for stoves need to be updated to reflect that they are now not ovens. If you take feature requests I would also like a range which is a combo of stove and oven.
TheeAriaLee For the most part, the variants take all versions. So any metal nugget, any wood board, etc. I do know waterdrinker was planning on narrowing that down a bit to cut down on some of the variant scrolling. We can also try taking screenshots and posting them in the wiki on the github or something. Thanks for the feedback!
is there not a list of recipies i can find online for this mod? Its kinda hard to see the variations when they move so fast :(
Feidry Yes, I noticed that in the menu. For some reason, the one that is supposed to be craftable does not work upon placing the correct ingredients in the menu. There must be some mod conflict going on, although I don't have any idea what would be causing that.
Fjall There's a Grave that Decor Bazaar adds, it is craftable in my game. The "gravestones" are vanilla clutter blocks.
Is there something special I have to do to make gravestones craftable? The recipe doesn't seem to work on my load.
I'm pretty sure you could still craft the stoves before, but the handbook was pointing at the wrong variant of the block, one that doesn't have a crafting recipe. So if you knew the recipe, you could have probably crafted any of the stoves. Ah well, fixed now!
Maestro_ fixed the stove recipes! Thanks for pointing it out!
Maestro_ Already fixed it. Not sure why that change worked before and then stopped but at least it was easy. Expect an update soon.
Maestro_ Hmm, it was working before. I'll see if I can figure out what's up and get a patch ready for waterdrinker
Is something wrong on my end, or do stoves not have crafting recipes anymore now?
Phoenicius The meal display will probably be quite difficult. The smoke particles, less so. I'm mostly grouping them together in an update because they're both "visual" features so it makes sense to me for them to both be included in a second pass. My modding ToDo list is getting quite long and I'd like to attempt some simpler tasks before tackling the meal display.
Congrats on getting the firepit functionality working! It's been a long time coming, but you got it done pretty quickly Feidry Awesome stuff!
Do you think it's going to be a big hurdle to get the smoke particle emission and meal display working?
🎉The Stove->Firepit Update is live! 🎉
Good news, everyone! With Nat's help, we've got one of the stoves working as a firepit! Still need to figure out how to make it make smoke particles when lit and also display the meal or whatever's in the cooking slot.
EDIT: I converted the rest of the stoves and the Cast Iron Fireplace to be firepits and pushed up the changes to waterdrinker's git repo. She probably won't have time to review it until the weekend.
Yeah, I'm reading through the code of "Instant Firepits" right now actually. Its not overly complex and, yeah, does nothing to replace the model.
Feidry The mod 'instant firepits' seems to be the only mod that alters the building of firepits in any way. When I attempted, the firepit code is very hardcoded to the firepit model, so just figuring out how to switch the shape its associated with is what I couldnt figure out (and nix the step building poriton which I think the mod I mentioned does).
waterdrinker I've done some initial poking around and I think it should be possible. Still investigating a couple things. Will update when I have something.
EDIT: If anyone knows of any mods that add custom firepits, please let me know. I can probably figure it out without reading someone else's homework but that would speed me up a lot.
Feidry If you figure this out, so many people (including myself) will be SO HAPPY!! :D
I'll look into making the stoves work as firepits. Gimme a day or so to get back to you waterdrinker
Evernite That sounds like a mod conflict. I play on my own single player save and dont have this issue, so I would assume it to be one of the mods you use. Would you mind sending your server-main log to my discord (@anyanana) or uploading the part of the file here that shows the mods that you are using along with their version names?
Menelos I will contact the creator of that mod to see what I can do!
My cabinets keep changing the amount of slots they have. When I first place them they have 8, then if I leave the world and come back they have 16 slots and all slots can all be used. But if you break and re-place it then it goes back to 8 until you log off again. I use this on a single player world with several other mods but I none of my other mods change the size of storage containers. I also tested in a world with just this mod and it still happens and also the label changes from "Cabinet Storage" to "Chest Storage".
Beautiful Mod by the way!
Thanks for your work, it's really beautiful. I especially appreciate the oven variant although I realized I got no xp from using them, could you make them compatible with xskills?
waterdrinker many thanks!
Aszek572 Oof thats an easy fix, I am so sorry I didn't notice this sooner! Will get it fixed ASAP!
waterdrinker - first off, thank you for making this mod; it is a wonderful addition to the world.
That said, I am having an issue where the Brass Lamps do not list a light level and consequently do not shed light and are solely pretty to look at. I may be having a mod conflict, or an issue from changing versions within a world I'd been playing in, but it is an issue I've encountered in Survival.
Noobenwell Hello! Thank you for bringing this to my attention! This is the first I am hearing of conflicts from other mods. Would you be able to message me on discord and detail the problem you are seeing (and name the specific mods with conflicts) so I can address the issue? I have no problem updating compatability but I have no way of knowing what recipes other modders use unless I use the mod myself (or they reach out to me). However, multiple recipes for one item (if you are talking about the stoves and ovens) is intentional. They are alternate recipes for those that play with lore turned off or on the human world setting so they can still craft these items. There are many in game items that have multiple recipes for one item.
waterdrinker
Please review your list of crafting recipes. It appears that having multiple recipes for one item on many of your items is causing conflicts with recipes from other mods, resulting in some items being overwritten. While I won't list all the specific items here, I'm happy to assist further if you need more details—just let me know.
To improve compatibility, it would be beneficial to limit each item to one recipe, ensuring it aligns logically with the item being crafted. I really enjoy your mod, but these conflicts require me to make adjustments myself to accommodate other items. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Thanks,
Noobenwell
Wandour This sounds lovely! Can you message me on Discord @anyanana and we can discuss? I have very little time to work on the mod recently so would love some extra hands if you are offering!
Ryilo I am so sorry for the oversight. I will fix in the next update!
will there be fruit storage decors?
dried fruits hanging racks for meat decors etc, jam shelf etc
I'd be happy to help with that :D
The innercabinet and fancyinnercabinet seem to have conflicting recipes where the fancy version always prevails, maybe because the ingredients all end with -*, so to make a not-so-fancy cabinet I had to change the recipe of the fancy one to require 3*2 stones instead of 2*2, otherwise I couldn't make it.
SiiMeR the brass lamps now are in all metal variants. I believe your previous brass lamps may now not be available now that I think about how I went about coding them. But the brass lamps are still there! You may just have to make another. Just search 'brass glass lamp' in the handbook.
saeleya Wow total oversight! I will work on getting a fix out asap. Thanks for letting me know! (I now know exactly what I have to do to fix it, I will have a release this weekend!)
Hi! I think in adding the different wood sinks, the classic woods are no longer available! There isn't a recipe available for the double wood nickel sink in ebony or oak for example, but there is for the modded woods like jacaranda.
The brass lamps seem to have disappeared from the last version. Is that intentional?
BillyGalbreath I just figured out the problem and fixed it, so it will be in the next update. My goal is to have it tested and released this weekend!
waterdrinker regular survival world in a dedicated multiplayer server.
BillyGalbreath I've seen this when I am in creative worlds that dont spawn traders. Is that the kind of world you are playing in, or are you seeing it in regular survival worlds as well?
Fatigue Yes, I updated my other blocks for their spoilage rates but forgot these two with the last update :,) will be fixed soon!
I believe I have found an issue, but it never hurts to be certain. There's code within the following spoilage rates for vegstorage.json and wallveg.json that needs to be added for the correct rates of spoilage to apply.
vegstorage.json is currently:
---------------------------------
spoilSpeedMulByFoodCat:
{
"vegetable": 0.1,
"grain": 0.5
}
----------------------------------
But it should instead be:
----------------------
spoilSpeedMulByFoodCat:
{
"normal":
{
"vegetable": 0.1,
"grain": 0.5
}
}
-------------
The wall veggie storage also has this issue, but it also has the issue of having it's grain spoilage set to 1, when it should be more in-line with the veggie storage where vegetables last longer than grains in the vegetable box; that's what we've got bread boxes for, after all. The code in wallveg.json is currently:
---------------------------
spoilSpeedMulByFoodCat:
{
"vegetable": 0.1,
"grain": 0.1
}
-------------------------
But would instead be functional and fit with the non-wall variant using the following snippet:
---------------------------
spoilSpeedMulByFoodCat:
{
"normal": {
"vegetable": 0.1,
"grain": 0.5
}
}
-----------------------
I'm seeing a lot of these warnings in the server console/log

It's just these 4 paintings.
weeviljester my ovens will work with the next Culinary Artillery update. I don't know a timeline, I just know they are working on it :)
i remember when there was barly anything to this now theres so much yay!
The Ovens are not compatible with Expanded foods. It doesn't output baked goods based on the ingredients used to make them, it just outputs the generic item and therefore wastes the ingredients included.
SalemRobin There was previously support, but wildcraft changed their mod a bit so now this version is incompatable. I have a version working that is compatable right now, but its not quite ready for release. Hoping to get it released soon so you can enjoy all the beautiful woods!
Are there plans to add support to wildcraft trees wood variants in the future?
No worries! Keep up the good work, I love the mod.
Marshy Hello! I am doing an overhaul of all the recipes on the next release so this will be fixed. Sorry about that!
I am unable to craft the Seed Storage. It always results in the Bread Box. I believe their recipes overlap in such a way that boards on top of seeds always results in a Bread Box. Looking at the comments, I think something similar happened with Spice Racks previously?
Ah I see. That's honestly suprising with how moddable the game is otherwise
Luin Hello! The issue is that the firepit code is hardcoded with a shape within the actual C# code, so one can't just copy and paste. You would have to make your own by modifying the code significantly, which is way beyond my understanding of C#. This is why they work as ovens, because the oven code is not tied to a shape (as you can see I have many different ovens in my mod). Hoping that one day someone will come around that knows what to do and is willing to help me with this!
Regarding the stoves working as ovens:
I don't have much coding proficiency beyond just the basic logic of languages so forgive me if it's something obvious, but what is preventing you from basically copypasting the code and UI from the basegame firepits to the stoves?
ShamblerDK Thank you for letting me know. I was having issues with the bread box time as well. Will play around with it and put the fix in the next update!
Compost Bin doubles the rot time even though it says it should accelerate it.
Compost Bin doubles the rot time even though it says it should accelerate it.
Absolutely fantastic work.
Snowfall94 It is decorative, and the ladder is there for asthetic purposes if you want it there or not. Some ideas: You can place a trunk on the shelf and top shelf (or two chests if you will). and on the bottom you can place something on the left side. I don't think it is possible to place something on the right side on the bottom since that is the block that is being taken up by the shelf itself. You can also place 4 items (bowls, jugs, etc) on the right side shelf as it has slots. Hope this gives some inspiration!
What do the Large Shelves do besides spawn a ladder when you open/close them?
artemax44 I will ask around and see if I can find a translator! Glad to see I have some Spanish fans <3
Michaloid you and me both! The goal was to have the stoves function as firepits, but the firepit code is much too complex for me. If you know of any coders who would like to volunteer their services to see if they can make it work, let me know!
I wish there was a furnace that would act like a firepit. But this mod rocks all the same.
waterdrinker
Would a translation into Spanish be possible? The mod is very good but I don't understand English well. thanks and good job
Bunker Thank you for all of your support! I used the lead ingot texture for the rods. I can easily make some rods for you!
NerdlinGeeksly All the beds in my mod are functioning! :)
Are the decorative beds usable?
hello again! I see you have a patreon now and I'll be sure to sub when I'm in a better place :D
Loving the curtains! Was wondering what material you used for the curtain rod? I would like to chisel up some empty curtain rods to give the illusion the curtains have been pulled open without having the gap in the rod between them.
If it's not a huge ask, may we potentially just get a curtain rod item down the line?
Definitely would like to ask for more curtain variants once I'm subbed to patreon though c:
Iver shouldnt have any issues! They dont usually change anything regarding how my mod works, but of course if you come across an issue, let me know :)
Is it compatible with 1.19.3 waterdrinker?
TheEngineerGuy Hello! I plan on haivng a release that has a lot of cloth/clothing items and blocks in the future, including a closet. Medieval is on my list of things to release in the future, along with an east Asian theme release as well. On my patreon I post more about these releases in depth! Also on my patreon I do comissions (on the 2nd tier sub), so if you are wanting specific items or themes for a future pack, I would prioritize comissions in terms of which releases first. I'm glad you are enjoying the mod as it is now, though!
Amazing work! Would a closet also be possible? I like and prefer the medieval times style.
norwestie thank you for letting me know! I will adjust the recipe in the next update.
Hello! I am enjoying your mod, thank you :)
I do have an issue when I try to make the Cottage Core Table (Bald Cypress). Instead of recognising the table recipe, it makes two stools.
ngoomie It sounds like I just need to adjust the hit box! I can do that in the next update :)
SpacemanSpliff I will add this to the list of things to work on. I think its doable!
If you attempt to actually sit on the stools, like using the 'G' key, then you end up just hovering over them. Weird hitboxes I guess? I like the mod generally speaking though, that's just a small thing I noticed
Thank you! You're amazing!
Is there a way to get the sinks to function? Using them as a water source for your kitchen would be amazing.
Bunker Im always open to suggestions! The update I just posted has curtains. Right now its just basic colors but there is a fancy and plain variant. I may add the patterned versions later on. Shutters and windows are on my list of things to add in the future, among other things :)
I do have some block suggestions if you're open to them c:
Have you thought about adding curtains? It'd be cool to have a few different variants. (Like basic linen or the patchwork texture from the brass bed bedding)
Shutters / solid looking trap doors similar to how the other block game has different trap door styles would also be cool.
Maybe a variant of the lead lined windows without the lead lining? Just the frame and a pane of glass.
Jozhin_z_bazhin I want the recipes to be cheap and not progression locked because at the end of the day its a decor mod and just for fun :) and Im not sure of a way to leave out certain nuggets out of recipes, so its either all of them or none, which I prefer all of them for ease of access to recieps. I agree that it does seem a little silly lol but Im not in this for realism ;) I hope you can still enjoy despite this!
waterdrinker Imho, lamp recipes are too cheap. You can create light sources, with lantern light level, from... trash. Also, brass furniture, maded from uranium nuggets is... a bit weird :)
Awesome. Thanks! Loving all the cool decorations that are really making my place look great.
DrBubba after placing the item, hovering over the item will promt you to click it to change the variant
Thanks, mate.
That sounds neat. When/Where do you click on it?
DrBubba I just put out an update and tested all the cabinet recipes in survival so they should all work (unless I just have bad luck today lol). I also fixed the visual bug on the top of the cabinets thankfully it was super easy. The right click to change changes the shape of block to have different decor. Its there so you dont have to make the item multiple times if you want a different look. You can click it as many times as you would like so I suggest trying it! Its super cool :)
I totally get it. I spent a long time in the gaming industry so I know how tough it is! Don't feel any rush. I'm exploring the other recipes in the meantime. :)
Also, what does "right click to change" mean on some of the recipes?
DrBubba I see that visual bug now. I would have never found that! Lol. I will trouble shoot that. I think its because the top bit of the block isnt a full block, but this really shouldnt happen. I dont want to make it a full block, so I will have to get some help seeing if I can fix it without editing the model. As far as the left/right recipes, I will push out a hotfix in a few minutes so you can have that working at least! Sorry for all the trouble! Making a mod is hard lol
No worries. It happens.
Another couple issues I've found:
DrBubba NOOOO!! I am so sorry!!! I put a warning up on the mod page and on the discord. Thank you for your sacrifice ðŸ˜
Just as a warning for people before they update: EMPTY YOUR SHELVES AND CABINETS BEFORE UPDATING
If you don't, all the contents will be lost when you install the new version. (Ask me how I know.)
I'll just wait for the update. Thanks, waterdrinker
DrBubba I just tested the most recent version and you are totally correct, it looks like there was an error loading those recipes. For now, if youre comfortable you can place them with creative mode, or wait for the next version which will completely overhaul a lot of these recipes and blocks! Sorry about the error!
waterdrinker
Thanks for the awesome news on the wood variants!
The items that seem to have no recipes are:
Top Left Cabinet
Top Right Cabinet
Stone Cabinet Top
Pots and Pans
Wall Veggie Storage
Spice Rack
Kitchen Shelf
DrBubba in the next update, there will be a complete overhaul of the cabinets and they will have all wood variants so whatever wood you make with it, you will see that texture. This is by request, it just took me awhile to figure out how to implement it. There shouldn't be too many missing recipes that I can recall, I remember testing most of them. Which ones are you having issues with? The wall veggie storage is the only one I know didn't load properly with this update. If you found any others please let me know and I will fix.
With the next update I will do my best to have accurate recipes. That is the most difficult part of making the mod in my opinion.
Just curious why bald cypress seems to be the required wood for all the shelves and cabinets. I'd prefer to make them out of other woods, but it doesn't seem to want to allow me to do that. Is that intended, waterdrinker?
Also, are all the stone cabinet textures going to be the same regardless of what materials you use? There also seem to be a lot of missing recipes. How do you find those items?
Thanks for mod!
At long last, a good decor mod! Thanks!
I revised the Japanese translation.
Check the Discord.
AHHHHHH the stoves are partially functional now?!?!?! SQUEEE! I've had my eyes on this mod since I first saw it. You're amazing!
RussellL360 I like that suggestion! My plan is to have 'themed' sets so I can have a medieval themed set in the future that fits into the time period of the game, as I know some of my stuff is a little more modern for VS lol. Thank you for the compliment!! Glad you enjoy!
Annastasija Thank you! Comments like these keep me going! <3
Thank you for this mod.
If I may suggest some possible additions for down the road...
Something along the lines of the Minecraft mod "Fantasy's Furniture" by ApexModder (as seen on Modrinth)
Aside from that, anything you think needs to be in as you are doing a bang up job already! :)
I love this mod. Everything is so cute<3
Any start's a start. Looking forward to expansion!
ASILiara I only did one color scheme for the stone cabinets, but will do more in the future. My goal is to get each cabinet variant set to be unique and have its own 'style', so I will work on a purple heart kitchen set next! I have to figure out how to code putting all the stone and wood variants onto each cabinet model.
Noice. Have to check that out when I'm next in my SP game. Lots of different colours? :D
And, while I'm at it, will we be getting colour variations of the wooden kitchen stuff? I have a hankering for purpleheart cabinets.
ASILiara new stone cabinet kitchen set with the new update :)
Stone cabinets? :D
Dagurmawth just released an update to add glass to the spice rack recipe so it doesn't prioritize the bread box. Thanks for letting me know!!
Conflict between Bread Box and Spice Rack recipies. Putting in the required amounts for a spice rack will prioritize crafting a bread box instead.
ASILiara I planned on doing this in a release coming up!
Any chance of getting some of these blocks, such as cabinets, functioning as storage? Should be some pretty simple json.
Thanks a lot!. That's what I needed, I have the mod installed on my server and the players didn't know how to craft the items. Now I'll look at it creatively to see how it's done. Thanks again!.
Laguna my last update I missed adding recipes, this new update has all the recipes. If you play in single player, you can hop into creative mode and see all the items and hover over each one and click 'h' and the recipe will come up for that item. Thats the only way I know how to show a list of my items in game. I can look into adding a PDF of all items in the game too so you can reference that if you are playing on a server. I am not sure how to get a list of items in the handbook, but I will look into it!
RuneScholar Well you are in luck! They kind of work now, only they work like ovens, not firepits. Visually they are a little weird, like where the cooked item gets placed, but they function! Thank you so much for the compliment!
ASILiara Thank you!! I got the idea from Animal Crossing :) Enjoy!
Is there a place where I can see the items that are available and how to craft them? Thank you!
The only thing holding me back from using this mod is that things like the stove are non-functional. And they look so nice I want to use them. I know you just haven’t learned how to make them functional yet but I just wanted to say your models are top-notch.
YOU ADDED LITTLE GARDEN SIGNS! Screw waiting for this mod to be functional, I'm getting it now.
jamescook I would love if they could function! I am trying to teach myself how to code to try and figure it out. If you know of any modders that may want to lend a hand I would be very grateful.
looks nice but i probley would not use them untill they had a function
@Kaofan Thank you! I just updated the file with the Polish version. Enjoy!
Vogi Thank you!!
