I hated how the devs removed purple hair in 1.19 and got carried away. Now this exists.
Do you want to look like a human? Do you hate the limited default colors? Or do you just want a completely black skin?
Then this is probably what you're looking for! (at least until something better comes along...)
This pack replaces the player colors with a bigger and more organized selection.
About half of the colors are colors of the rainbow, a quarter are human-like colors, and the rest are colors from the game.
This works with pretty much any game version, including older versions.
Note that since this is a texture pack, the color changes are only visible as long as you have it on.
Players created in worlds without this texture pack will probably look strange with it enabled. If you don't want to start a new world, you can customize the colors by running the command /player <yourname> allowcharselonce
and then the command .charsel
.
This only changes the game's default textures, so there's probably little to no compatibility with mods that modify the player model (i.e. kobold player, orcs...). Custom armor and clothes should be fine though.
This is a texture pack, so this is client-only and will need to be downloaded by anyone playing in your server if you want everyone to look right.
With that said, enjoy the pack! If you want to make your own colors, I left editable files inside of the pack's folder. You will need Krita in order to edit them.

Helenth I have done this so nobody else has to in the future. Thanks for sharing the issue!
For all of those who want to use this mod in multiplayer, you need to unpack mod and edit modinfo.json file by adding as last line:
"side": "client"
But remember to put comma after:
"version": "1.0.0"
my kinda guy, first thing i noticed was lack of purple. immedatly searched and recieved
MacAonghais yes, that is why it's tagged as a theme/texture pack
Was this a simple texture change from the ingame files?
